Allow me to clear up the uncertainty around LED equipped JT's and our lamps! As of 06/2022 all tail lamps produced have all the electronics built in to communicate with the BCM to circumvent the notorious "Dummy Error" you get the truck no longer see's the OE lamps.
We also have plug & play...
Hey there,
If you probe the brown wire with 12v, the lights should light up at half intensity for Park Lamp. If you probe the red wire with 12v, it should light up full intensity for Stop/Turn.

To add to this instruction - We found that if you don't go in and clear all DTC beforehand, the error may still occur. So...
Hey! Yes, this is normal for the first couple weeks of use as the moisture in the trapped air inside evaporates. This won't affect the performance of the lamps and will go away and not come back.
That will be more so with these since there are heating elements generating more heat for that...

The most ideal spot functionally would be somewhere on the grill. But we understand some of you are going to want to hide that & won't want it visible.
Ideally, you want these to be in a spot where there is the least amount of engine heat. The spot you chose is a great place!
