  1. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

I'm not a big fan of purple vehicles myself. But the purple with the electric blue and black make for an eye catching look. Very nice!
  2. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

Drive around in hybrid the whole time. This whole adventure started with my wife wanting a jlu. Then she went out of town and rented a 4xe. It wasn't charged and the rental companies are unlikely to charge them. Even when it looks like the battery is "<1%" at stop, there's still battery...
  3. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

Well said, and thank you for the kind words. I understand not being interested in any other EV/phev or really any other vehicle classified as a car or suv. If it's not a truck, I'm probably not interested, with the exception of classic cars. But it's ok to me that jeep has a phev, not my...
  4. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

Good to know!! We have a reason for me to drive her Jeep next week at least, it will be in 4HA. And it’s great to know you have a similar situation with jeeps and it’s working out.
  5. Just picked up a new 2023 Rubicon Sarge Gladiator!!

Very nice, congrats. Love the green.
  6. No Ducks For Me(Beware, rant/negative duck comments)

It doesn't bother me to get a duck, but I think it's dumb. My neighbor gave me one that was flipping the middle finger....that was funny. All other ducks have been given to my dog. My dad's wife makes him display ducks all the way across his Gladiator dash. I point and laugh.
  7. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

Haha…new neighborhood. House is being finished. When the appliances start going in, we’ll use those for new camping equipment.
  8. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

Yeah! I totally agree with everything you’re saying. Like I mentioned, I would have liked for her to get the 3.6 jlu. So it will be interesting to see how it performs as we move forward. On the day-to-day, I feel she meets that niche, but how will it look when we’re putting our camping plans...
  9. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

The dealer took $11k off the sticker. The high level break down was $8k tax credit and $3k in rebates. I realize that contradicts the $7500 tax credit. I could get into the paperwork if it’s important enough. We bought from a small jeep dealer in the middle of nowhere GA. It was pretty...
  10. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

She did get the extended warranty, i think 5 years. And yes, we plan on taking it off road but trail riding, nothing serious. I’d be surprised if anything bigger than the 33s ever get put on it. But we do plan to use it to go camping and light 4wheeling.
  11. Wife bought a 2024 4xe…feel free to ask 4xe questions.

My wife traded a BMW X5 for a new Wrangler 4xe. I was hoping she’d get a 3.6 jlu wrangler with the 35s, but she liked the idea of potentially saving gas on her commute to work. Anyways, I think it’s pretty cool that we’re a 2 jeep house, especially since most of the cars in my neighborhood are...
  12. Excited about new shoes…and hello from north GA

Haha, that’s the trick alright.…waiting out that shiny time. Thanks, and I’ll get this rig dirty soon enough.
  13. Excited about new shoes…and hello from north GA

Thank you and hey neighbor. It’s not really a device that kills the auto stop, although it’s called an “Autostop Eliminator”. What it’s really doing is remembering the settings from the last time the Jeep was running. So if the auto stop button was engaged when I turned the Jeep off, it would...
  14. Excited about new shoes…and hello from north GA

First post. Just got some new shoes this morning. Really happy with the combo. Going for an old school look…because I’m old. Ion 171 with 35 BFGs. So far I put on a steel bumper, aux lights, voswitch, onboard ARB air compressor, best top topper thing, tonneau cover and a device that kills...
