Plowed with mine all last season. Love it!!! Mine is a Western Impact V. There is only one dealership that does this setup called Storks Plows in eastern PA. It is actually a UTV plow, so a little lighter. They shipped the whole kit to me. Plow install was pretty easy and straightforward...
Update: Been through several rainstorms here in Cleveland. From all day lite rain to torrential downpours. Drove through all of them, Jeep sat for hours in them as well. I'm happy to report the dealership repair has worked, and she's completely dry!
Since I was a little kid in the late 70's thru the 80's. Hotwheels Jeeps, Lego Space sets always had some sort of topless vehicle for the figures to ride in, and GI Joe had several Jeep toys. I still have those packed away somewhere. When I turned 16, I searched the paper for jeeps. Found an...
Annual camping trip with my bros! One of their families property. Been going since 1992. Very mild offroad to our camp spot, a little mud and a lot of cornfields. Drinking, ball-busting, story telling, loud music, vintage nudie mags, big fires, guns, homemade PVC bows (this years challenge)...
Update: My Jeep has been at the dealership since Monday morning for the window replacement. It's still not done as of today (Wednesday). Spoke with the service manager and he quietly explained that although I had this scheduled over a month ago, and the glass has been there waiting for 3...
Here in NE Ohio waves are getting pretty rare. I'd estimate less than 50%. I did notice a drop in waves driving a Gladiator vs. my previous JKU. I still feel if you don't wave, you just don't "get" what it is to own a Jeep. I also agree with previous members that Jeep is partly to blame...
Took our first trip with our greyhound, Finn. He's been on many local rides to hike and stuff, but this was a 5 hour drive. Went to Seneca Lake in NY for some wine and brews. Finn loved it. He finally figured out the benefits of the rear slider. Having done a rear seat delete, he had tons...
Saw a member post this gas cap holder thing he found on etsy a week ago. Ordered one up for myself. That OEM hook for the gas cap cord is practically useless. This seems like a great fix. It'll give me a much needed laugh at the pump too!
Update: The new shock arrived, so I was able to swap it out. That original shock was crap for sure. I was able to compress it easily between my hands, and then it just held all squished. Compared to the new one that took every bit of strength I had to push it up into the axle bracket!! No...
Thanks guys for the feedback. I appreciate the dimensions pics and the video link. I thought about trying to find some sort of round rocker switch to slip into the cig lighter hole, but haven't come up with anything yet. I'll keep looking.
Does anybody know if the panel where the cigarette lighter is can be removed and replaced with a solid blank? Is there a solid blank available? I want to add an auxiliary switch and that would be the perfect spot.
Update: My dealer called, replacement has been approved. The new glass is on it's way, but I couldn't get an appointment until the end of June as that was the earliest they would have a loaner for me. So now I wait. This is almost going too smooth...
