  2. Let's see your 285/75 17 tires

Discount Tire was a great experience - still one of the best Jobs I've ever had.
  3. Let's see your 285/75 17 tires

Long term report on the Yokohama Geolandar M/T in 285/75/17 I had them on my gladiator for 20,000 miles approximately and pulled them off to go on a new Ram 2500 where they ran for another 30,000 miles. I was not religious about rotations - I had 1 set of tires on 2 sets of wheels and on two...
  4. Is there any difference between JT or JKU Fox Rubicon shocks?

Excuse me for further clarification - but it sounds like Gladiator Springs will not work on a JL - ?
  5. Need advice - Best "upgraded" tire size on stock Sport S rims?

I do not listen to terrestrial radio (am/FM). I listen to only satellite radio, podcasts and audio books. The car wash I used on a daily basis would whip the antenna into the truck so I put it permanently behind the back seat.
  6. Need advice - Best "upgraded" tire size on stock Sport S rims?

285/75/17 Yokohama Geolander M/T - Sport S, MAX TOW, Rubicon Express Leveling Kit with Fox 2.0 (somethings)

  8. New Clayton 2.5" Kit!

Wow is right - mistakes happen; owning those mistakes is critical - its easy to ask how could this happen; the truth is it does and while it shouldn't everyone has an opportunity to learn from them. Glad to see it will be an easy fix - I doubt they are taking the time to dial in the caster of...
  9. not my first rodeo JT build

I suppose I need to share my Gladiator.
  10. not my first rodeo JT build

On Friday July 31st 2020 I bought my 15th new jeep – this one was a 2020 Gladiator Sport with the heavy haul package – I bought it this way – because basically it’s a Rubicon – without lockers and the transfer case I prefer – having owned 3-rubicon’s of various ranges (TJ’s and JK’s) and plenty...
  11. Gladiator vs Tacoma IMO

I agree with everything you wrote except for extolling the virtues of the ridgeline.
  12. Gladiator vs Tacoma IMO

This was my 2019 Tacoma, bought new in November 2019 - sold End of July 2020 - hated this truck ----- the fact is 5.13's are accepted in the Tacoma community to Run 33's and required for 35's - this fact alone makes it a none starter to build one. Moreover, the list of modifications to run a 35...
  13. Why not buy a full size truck for the same price?

I said the same thing until the prices on the JT came down - I've owned about every make and model of 4x4 (S.D., Ram 2500's, F150, 1500 Chev, 3-JK's, more TJ's than I can count), few 1/2 tons are close to as capable modified as the JT is stock and even then 1/2-tons need a ton of work and then...
  14. Any Full-Size Converts?

I've had everything - 2019 Tacoma was last it sucked - in every way possible the only redeeming factor was its reliability supposedly, it was my least favorite vehicle ever. Before that a 2018 Ram 2500 Diesel with the AEV Highmarks on 40's - loved it but was impractical - before that was a 2016...

  16. Pictures of 33s and 35s

Basically the same look I am going for, good looking truck! - by 33's do you mean: 285/70/17, 285/75/17, 305/60/17, or just plain ole' 33x12.5x17?

How are you feeling long term about the ride, balance, and wear on the Mastercraft Courser MXT - that's a good looking tire, just curious about how you like them - I tend to Stick with the TOYO or Nitto tires because I've always had great luck with them. Thanks in advance for the response!
