Exact same problem. I can recreate the condition if the outside temperature is below 30F and I accelerate hard while making an abrupt turn to the left (passing). If I slow down to less than 20MPH the power steering comes back. A couple of additional notes. I have a Taser installed and show no...
Back in the day I worked at a Gulf station and they had this radiator anti-leak stuff that looked like a bottle of metal filings. It would stop the leak and instantly clog the heater core.
Damn, I remember you neighbor from childhood. We used to take the same bus to school. We always wondered why it was shorter than the one the other kids took.
I would like to blame my wife, son, or the dog, but I accidentally put about 3 ounces of Dot 3 brake fluid in my coolant expansion tank. I immediately realized it and siphoned the entire tank empty. After reading that brake fluid is glycol based and would be soluble with the coolant I decided to...
That is the way I am planning on going. I found this video on Youtube. What do you think of his additions? Did you just use the Mopar kit and nothing else and if so did you notice any misalignment of the axles? Steering stabilizer might be a nice addition.
If it hasn't been already mentioned installing a Tazer will allow you to set it to the "off" position and will retain the setting each time you start the vehicle. Personally, I would not own my Gladiator without a Tazer to personalize settings.
Stock 2021 Willy's I averaged mid 16's for the first 4k miles and then installed a K&N Cold Air Intake. Contrary to what I have read it improved my mileage significantly to low 19's over the next 2k mi. My driving is about 75% highway.
Yup, same here on my 2021 JT. Wind is the major culprit since a box is not aerodynamic. One thing I have learned is that you tend to over correct when you drive. I learned this from running trawlers and my JT handles like one. Try holding steady and you may notice it will bob and weave a little...
I finally found out what was going on here. There is a Tazer "switch" to turn on for the factory LED Halos which I had unknowingly switched on. I "unmarried" the Tazer and then reconfigured it. When I was done my after market SV4 LED headlights and fog lights worked perfectly and the additional...
Yes, it is called "Fog Light Drop Off", keeps the fogs on when high beams are turned on if you change the setting. It is not this causing the indicator light. Kevin D is spot on, it is for a rear fog light. I am going to play with some of the Tazer features today. You can also turn on the...
Yes, only the front. I just paged through all of the Tazer functions and I did not see "Rear Fog Light" option. Tazer is pretty slick though. Got rid of the "Stop/Start" feature and tweaked a few other things.
FYI, SV4 LED head light and fog light bulb upgrade is amazing and not a lot of money. Website is: https://www.headlightrevolution.com/?gclid=Cj0KCQiAs5eCBhCBARIsAEhk4r7jdHRqOkB5vD-jpftM8KjPRE9N_H5B8NSe3w1YLxaBPGXb82GjkQkaAtosEALw_wcB
