I've had mine come on a few times... only got it to the dealership twice. The first time they erased the stored code and said "have a good day". Second time they flashed the PCM. A week later the CEL and ESS are on. Already have an appointment for the 29th.... the other forum discussion on this...
Finally had time to take the Gladiator in for my CEL. They kept it overnight because they were backed up. They said that FCA is aware of this issue and their fix was to flash the PCM with an update (which they did). If I dont post again, it was fixed (I hope I didn't jinx myself)
About 2k miles into owning my Rubicon JT I got the multi cylinder misfire CEL also multiple ESS service warnings. Dealership cleared it and said they couldn't troubleshoot it because there were no current symptoms.... Didn't see the CEL again until around 4200 miles. CEL was on for about 3 days...
