That's a tough question. You should definitely take a Gladiator out for a long test drive to see what you think about the ride. I personally think it's extremely comfortable. Then again I've owned 10 jeeps these past 30 years and it's a frigging limousine compared to my 1979 CJ-7, TJs, XJs...
Mopar steel stubby with factory hoop and matching steel skid. I have a JCRoffroad winch plate and a Superwinch SX 10k arriving this week. I reused the plastic bumper's cover plate while deciding on what winch for this build.
Glad you're okay. I think that would be a great replacement if you can't find another JT. I've always loved the 4 doors. My son has my previous build now.
Thanks, I was originally planning to add some red stripe elements to it with "Gladiator" in red letters, but thought this was good as is. Sometimes less is more.
I was bored today and had a set of these on hand. Got them a few weeks back off Amazon for $20, so if they last a while, cool, if not, well not a big deal.
Thank you. This setup was not noticeable to the handling or the 39.75" measurements from bottom of the flare to the ground. I'm sure adding another 60 lbs for the winch and 40 lbs for the winch plate will drop it a little and the leveling kit will distribute the weight back to its current...
Today I added a mopar steel stubby bumper, skid plate and hoop. I reused the plastic trim piece from the plastic bumper temporarily...I'll be adding a JCOffroad winch plate and Teraflex leveling kit once I decide on the winch, probably end up with another Warn with synthetic rope.
