    Yes it is a cable that connects to the brake pedal in the jeep and runs to a surge brake lever built into the front of the tow bar mount. It always worked on my 2016 unlimited.

    Thanks Alan. I prefer it's braking system over the others. Also I have used the mopar flat tow harness on our 2016. I wonder if it exists for the gladiator yet?

    I used one on my 2016 Sahara a few years back and it worked perfectly. Not sure about using one on a Gladiator. Anyone using this tow bar???
