I had the Yakima Overhaul and used it on 3 different trucks. Very nice rack and looks really good especially with the horizontal bars you can get for it. Had a couple seized bolts over the years but not a big deal. Would buy it again if I needed a bed rack.
I’ve seen a few threads on this happening to others, I found my first issue of it a few months back when I was washing the truck. Contacted my local dealer and scheduled a time to get it fixed up. The initial spot was only on the bottom of the driver door, got it repainted and am mostly happy...
I love my Oracle lights. Not a fan of the Diode Dynamic looks, but the features are awesome. I love the clean simple look of the oracles. I recently noticed that the bezel underneath the projector was starting to melt and deform. Contacted Oracle and they sent me a brand new set and said to keep...
Installed a OEM matte grille I found on Facebook Marketplace for a really cheap price. It has the jet black lower surround but my truck is Granite Crystal Mettallic so it doesn’t stand out too much. Nice subtle change from my sport S grille.
Yea I don’t have any need for airbags, I won’t be doing that with the truck again, haha. I like the idea of comparing heights to similar trucks, they have a lifted sport at the dealership that I will go compare with and the measurements received on here and through DMs I have a good feeling my...
I could be off on the weight for sure, I didn’t weight each block, but going off the Home Depot website, and how many we had, it’s right around that. I was definitely on the bumpstops if only just slightly.
Haha well I don’t do this usually, I was just trying to rush a project and didn’t want to take the time to go get my work truck and trailer. Just laziness on my part.
The only before measurement that I had was from measuring the bottom of the hitch receiver when I was seeing what kind of drop I needed for a trailer. Definitely not the most accurate but that’s the only number I could go off from before so that’s were I re-measured.
You are correct, this is the...
No offense taken, I’m not opposed to having it looked at by a shop, I am simply looking at body gaps and looking to see if anything is noticeably bent or weird tire wear, definitely not a mechanic or anything.
yes I know it was a mistake. I’m not blaming anything but me, I clearly said I overloaded the truck, my question was if there was anything nicer than the max tow springs. I’m not trying to make my truck haul anything like that again, i am just trying to replace springs that I think I damaged, if...
Haha why would somebody make something like this up? I went off measurements and the measurements are different before and after, the only thought was springs being compressed. Doesn’t seem that crazy of a thought to me, but I’m no internet expert here.
