I happy with the 3.6 and 8 speed auto.
I'm about 3 weeks into my Overland and no complaints. Im coming from a 2016 Sierra with the 5.3.
The 3.6 certainly doesn't have the power of the 5.3, but the 6 speed in the Sierra is a total piece of trash compared to the 8 speed in the gladiator...
I have GY duratrac 275/70/R18.
They are E rated. I didn't really notice any difference from the stock tires that normally come on the Overland.
I have about 45 psi of air on them.
They are rated for 80 psi. I tried 80 and it was much more stiff. 45 psi seems perfect for a smooth ride.
I got my Overland 2 weeks ago.
I kept the stock Overland wheels and went with Goodyear duratrac 275/70/R18.
Those are about 33.4" tall and more aggressive. No issues at all and they have no more road noise than what originally came on it. They also seem to ride good too.
I just got my JT Overland last Friday, so I don't have any long term experience. That said, I pulled the stock tires off an went with GY duratracs. I think they are very quiet and the ride seems smooth. I have stock suspension and wanted something more aggressive.
So far I love them.
I've only had them for a few days but so far I like them. I don't know about the 35". For me this is the look I wanted. Little bigger and more aggressive.
I just picked up my Overland Friday.
The street tires on those look horrible.
I had a set of GY duratrac 275/70/R18 on the stock wheels. They are just over 33" tall. I don't have a lift and don't plan on getting one.
They seem to have very little road noise.
Placed my order on 5-10 for an Overland w/3.6
Just talked to my salesman.
He looked it up and said i was in the JB (body vendor)phase.
Anyone have a general guess how much longer I might be looking at??
