I test drove the old mini van motor. I felt it was a bit anemic. I purchased the diesel, as I preferred the torque. With that said, I did buy the 125K Mopar extended, because I don’t trust the diesel long-term either. I still wish they would put the 5.7 in it.

I have been been told, through the Mopar Grapevine, the reason they are "out of stock," for the diesel is because the lift kit shocks weren't correct for the diesel and they are "revamping" secretly with a release expected in June. Not sure how true...

Absolutely, I believe this story as possible and most likely dead on accurate. No clue how they stay in business.

IT is an improvement, for sure. Just don’t think the shocks can kill keep up with the weak springs. I believe this is a “get most of them to 36K and it is their problem” fix..
