Hey all,
Im pretty electronically simple-minded and would love some help from you DIY experts. I have 2x rugged ridge roof racks which have space for 4, 3" light pods to be mounted on each. one rack faces backwards and one forwards for a total of 8 pods in 2 separate groups. I want to wire the...
guess i will be returning that item as i think the roof rack has so much more versatility and the freedom panels take like 5 min to remove and store which isnt a big deal.
thanks again man.
This is rediculously helpful and is going to save me a ton to time and money! thank you for this!
The silver tape you mention, is it the same as the metallic ducting tape used around dryer vent hoses or is that something different?
Fortunately I have a bed rack so i think i would run the wire...
Hey man, can you show me how you did the wiring for you aux lights on the rack there? I like the tubing concept to protect the wires but im not super electronically inclined. Any help you could offer would be appreciated!
That is actually very helpful. The stock photos are really quite shitty. Guess ill probably have to drill through the piece between those oval openings to get a good grip.
And fyi i actually went balls to the wall and ordered the short roof rack you have for the cab as well as the full size for...
Hey all,
I want to put a cargo basket on my bed rack but am trying to find the best way to mount them together. I want to order the Rugged Ridge roof rack pictured below but am thinking the only way is to bolt strainght through the cross bars in the basket and into the t-slots on the rack - i...

get some door edge protectors and swing away into her van. Stupid people deserve the rewards they get.
This is also another reason i swapped the rock rails with side steps so they cant hit my doors (granted mine is a bit taller than stock)
phew! considering that when i got my gladiator the crash test ratings were not available, seeing this comforts me a LOT. seeing how the front end was pushed back and to the left, im curious that if you had someone in the front passenger seat if they would have been okay too?
man i want this so i can step up to my bed rack easier but i cant spare the extra length. as it is the truck has only 1.5" clearance to my garage door. And i know i would forget to take it with my or remove it when parking and drive through the back wall lol. Such a tease!
Its a Jeep, with Dodge quality electronics. i would 100% recommend the extended warranty. I had a Ridgeline before my Jeep and do carpentry work on my days off. I had the tire replacement coverage and used it to replace 6 tires in 4 years because of all the jag-offs who drop nails and screws in...
Exactly, my Mojave is my 4th Jeep and i knew exactly what i was getting into before getting mine. damn the consequences. Also why i got an 8 year warranty though...
