Yeah I get that and that’s why I want to keep them since they already solved that puzzle.
I’m just looking to gain a slight bump in height so if I were to use the daystar spacer along with the RK pad the daystar would sit on the bottom bonded to the RK pad and fill any void between the two.
I...
Teraflex has stackable spacers that don’t have an issue of separating.
Probably not going to cast my own spacers but I may end up using some type of bonding material and urethane to fill the small gap that creates play side to side.
I may install the RK spring pad as is and
go from there. I...
Ok well maybe no one makes a top spacer for the rear springs, so the guys running a rear spacer with the Rockkrawler springs, are you guys just replacing the RK spring pad with a regular bottom spacer to gain a little more height?
Are there any spacers for the rear coils that mount at the top of the coil between the bed and coil, instead of the bottom on the axle side?
I’m looking for some in the .75” -1” range but can’t find them in any size that fit at the top of the coils like they do on the Wrangler.
I am about to...
The first two pics below are what the sidewalls will look like on anything below 40’s. On the 40’s the sidewalls have big square blocks around the sidewall. Its a dead giveaway that it’s 40’s.
The hauk lettering can be installed with the I centered. Its all up to the installer to get it right. I ditched the template, because I think both companies install them to high on the tailgate. I like it centered both ways, vertical and horizontal. I have seen even the limitless letters get...
yeah I ended up getting the Rockkrawler 3” pro-X, if I need more height I’ll convert it to the 4.5.
install for me is around the corner, I can’t wait! These Rockkrawler arms are insanely stout!
Sorry, no, I never got a reply from that post.
You should have some good lift with the Evo 4.5 springs, so I’m surprised to hear you think it’s lacking height.
Yep, if you need to adjust the track bar, it’s easy to get it to line back up with someone in the cab turning the steering wheel slowly back and forth until you get the bolt in.
Imogene is amazing for the sights but it’s not really near your location. I was there at the end of June last year and it was snowing at the top.
Not sure what kind of trails you like to do with the wife but Red cone is kinda in the area you would be in.
On the JLUR I run those exact 37” Nittos at 28 cold , rides great and lasted almost 70k miles…. Finally got a new set put on for my daughter as she has taken it over for college.
No one will be able to tell from that picture. You need to take a measurements.
make sure your steering wheel and tires are straight. Try and take a tape measure from your frame to the outside of the tread of your tire and then go to the other side and try and measure from around the same...
I wanted a more complete lift then what ready lift offered, and I don’t think you can purchase the extensions without purchasing their lift.
I looked at just about everything out there. Initially I was going to keep the shocks for a little while until I can get some built but decided to move on...
Not sure what this thread is trying to accomplish but here is a solution, If you like the skid plate system so much why not purchase it anyway and modify it
(if at all) where it’s needed to fit.
Sometimes the newer model year isn’t always listed as it fits because the site hasn’t been updated...
Nice set up. I love the look and simplicity of steel wheels and that is what I wanted.
It’s unfortunate about Wheel Vintiques, but I had a horrible experience with them as well. Back and forth with them I went for 3 months on my order and in the end, I decide to cut ties and move on. I was very...
