I'm able to max out my signal while my wife would be half bars sitting next to me. Usually I also just wifi Hotspot and connect all devices to it. I also used a giant antenna that truckers and RVs use, mounted it on the rail of my RTT so it juts out about a foot higher than the roofline.
After 1 year both my driver and passenger visors broke off that retaining piece. It's not like we abused them, we use them like anyone else would. I bought and replaced the passenger myself but have not been annoyed enough to replace the driver side.
Jackery 500 with an ARB Zero 73quart dual zone. Fridge draws about 73W on normal mode and about 83W in boost mode, having both fridge and freezer setups in 100+ AZ weather. Once it's at temp it'll do about 54W to maintain.

This setp allows the fridge to basically draw from the vehicle while on and then when parked the fridge continues to draw from the Jackery. Next step will be to install solar on the RTT so it will then be...
I have a Rebel Off Road XPLOR full height and my brother has a Diamondback on his Taco.
Here's why I went rack:
1) mounting points
2) versatility to design for purpose
3) clean lines from front to back
4) added Bed Slide <--game changer
5) mounting points
Here's why my brother had a bed cap...
Rebel Off Road XPLOR Rack on mine and it sits flush to create a straight line. Put 1" superstrut space on top so my RoofNest Falcon XL can hover over the cab
UPDATE: Used the Tazer JL Mini to enable the outlet and it works! Will be selling the Superchips as it does not work.
tl;dr thread
Got the 115v outlet in the back seat but not outside in your bed? You're not alone! You can install it on your own and activate it without getting the runaround...
