Anyone have a great shop recommendation for a lift & tire install in the Chicagoland area. I live in the north suburbs but hoping to find a great shop to install the Clayton Overland + 2.5 lift and 37’s. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

@nomaddict I am looking at the same setup. If you don’t mind sharing, what size Alu-Cab load bars did you go with 1250mm or 1450 mm?

@Steven_B I would love to hear the reasons customers go 5 to 1 for Alu-Cab? What is the listed static and dynamic weights for the top? I was leaning to Alu-Cab and your comments are helping.

Watching this thread! I am in the same place - I am waffling between Alu-Cab Explorer Canopy and RSI Adventure Smartcap. I like the one piece build of the Alu-Cab vs. the multiple pieces of the RSI smartcap. Also curious about dust getting in the Alu-Cab with no pressure vent.

Leitner Racks - not cheap, but great quality and will get the rooftop tent above the cab. I have a Roofnest Condor XL and the Leitner Rack brings it over the cab.

Just confirming what @DirkG stated. I did purchase and vehicle is great so far! I had my dealer service department run the VIN and look for anything including any service or warranty work. They did not find anything. They did say from what they could confirm, a manager or owner was using the...

Bruce - Thank you! Other than build date on sticker on door, is their anyway to tell build date from VIN or Window Sticker? The Window Sticker has the updated prices for Premium Audio, LED Lighting etc. - so was assuming a more recent build?

Will definitely verify no known mechanical issues or warranty work done. My dealer seems to think it was only used by one of the managers as their daily driver but hoping they will have more info in the morning.

@DanOnTheCob - Thanks for your feedback. My dealer is pissed and trying to get info, but the trading dealer sucks. I was at least a little glad the driver noticed the mileage and called back to my dealer. I have asked them to push back for an additional discount but am waiting to hear.
