So my buddy and I are heading to AOAA Saturday to do the badge trails. Starting with fern ridge. And possibly camping depending on how the rain times out and how hard it’s coming down. Which is giving me another reason to put my awning on that I just got. However, I know AOAA is tight!!! Last...
I put some lubricant on my key/locks that came with my rtic soft cooler that was for the zipper and my locks have been easy ever since. Before I did that they were awful. So that might be worth a try.
I will once I mount it! Going wheeling/camping March 9th and the place has some pretty tight trails, so I was waiting until after that! Sucks it’s just been sitting in my shed, but I couldn’t pass up on the sale!
That’s nuts I have a contour canopy and have not experienced that at all. Stinks you’re displeased with it. I love mine. I got mine from avo too. But their sales department went in the crapper once Norm left. Never want to have to deal with them again. Maybe call them too and see if they have...
I sat in my uncles Tacoma before I bought my gladiator took it through his neighborhood and it was an instant no. Very uncomfortable seating position. I also tried taking his top and doors off too, but for some reason they wouldn’t come off. I like the looks of the interior more in my Gladiator...
I called overland vehicle systems on my way home from work and the dude I spoke to said they sell more of the nomadic with that extra sliver vs the lt w/ out it. He said the nomadic is bout 15 lbs more. I just keep thinking if it gets windy it’s another failure point with it having another arm...
I’m interested in purchasing an awning. Overland vehicle systems has their nomadic lt awning on sale. And you can get an additional 15% off right now. I can’t decide if I want that extra coverage over the driver side door or not. Is it worth the extra 200 for that extra bit of coverage? Any...
I had to do the same thing with my Clayton’s. I put them on the rear springs and no more squeak. And they were seated properly. I went with 034 as well. They said they have since updated their instructions to move the stock isolators to their springs.
You make some good points, but again I’m not towing with a midsize truck that heavy anyways, even if they are “rated” for it. There are plenty of ppl who tow on this forum that have never had an issue or complained about their Gladiator when towing. If you need to tow 7000lbs on a regular basis...
Yeah I think the hybrid max capacity is lower than just the standard 2.4 turbo or whatever it is. Don’t quote me on that. But I think that’s what it is. But the Jeep will always sell less. Since apparently they drive so much worse and their god awful reliability. Haha. I’ve owned three jeeps...
Just towing alone, I have not looked up payload.
The ranger has a max of 7500
Tacoma has a max of 6500
Colorado 7700
And Gladiator 7650
So that’s gonna depend how you configure your truck. Mine is rated for like 7200. But if I’m towing that much I would be getting a full size.
Edit: I did a...
