Ah so I'm guessing it actually does suck for tall / big people. I'll have to wait until I can actually sit in one (the car show by me only had one JT on a pedestal. You couldn't go in it), but that's a little disappointing
Yeah I think this lady didn't know anything about it. I'm guessing some other person just nabbed them all
The thing I didn't like was that she pounced and asked if I wanted to buy a service plan for my current Jeep, a 2000 TJ. Just made me feel slimy haha
Called a dealership, they said they had the brochures. I drive 20 mins to the dealership and ask about the brochures. They had the brochures, but they were all open and none of them has the multitool. I asked about the multitool and they had no idea what I was talking about. Boo. I guess I know...
I'm guessing they'll pull a JL and offer more colors later on. They aren't even offering yellow on the JT right now. That's been a pretty consistent color option for a while now
Assuming a few things...
Fuel savings looks like 1-3mpg with it
We'll assume the JT gets 17mpg combined without e drive(based off of 2018 ram)
Assuming you drive 20 miles a day, you would drive 7,300 miles per year
You would use 430 gallons of fuel without e drive
You would use 365 gallons of...
Yeah the 37s and 2" lift were pretty much what I was planning on doing. It looks good!
Hopefully they make 37s an option from the start. I'd hate to buy a JT with rubber I'd just immediately sell on Craigslist :/ seems like a waste
My initial mod list is pretty lame. It's more geared towards overlanding than rock crawling
I'd start with a Rubicon, diesel, manual transmission, with 35s or 37s if that's possible
The very first thing I do will be checking out the chassis, drilling drain holes, and rust proofing it inside...
Yeah I really want a manual with the diesel. I don't care if the tow capacity lowers or whatever. All of my cars have been manual, they're reliable and easy to work on. So come onnnnnn Jeep!
"Let me preface this by saying that I’m not your typical 28-year-old"
You're still a millennial. On top of that, you're a pretentious hipster millennial who was doing something "before it was cool."
