When I first got my LE I put it in neutral because I wanted to fiddle with its position in my garage. I thought I'd be able to just push it a bit to see if I had to move things around but it wouldn't let me push it and went into "neutral park."
Nice racks - I've added them to my comparison shopping list. The price is nice too - some of the others are well above $1000, which is hard to swallow when one still has to buy things to mount to the rack.
I'm in. I like the height being such that the tent is at roof height - better for gas mileage. Rotopax, fire extinguisher, Powertank, shovel where you have it is fine. Maybe Maxtrax (or the cheaper X-Bull) could be mounted on the underside of the tent and attach to the rack there?
As for the...
I ordered mine from Amazon.

You can order a manual transmission with the features you want. Although I know people do want that Jeep, you're competing with three things: most people don't want a manual, most people want some features, and finally there is more profit in the upgrades so they get added to the dealer spec...
You and your facts... The HMMWV I drove for the battalion commander didn't have a pickaxe! Must have been dropped for cost along with the armor and seat cushions.
I know it seems anal, but with that step down the ends appear to be exposed sheet metal - my shins/calves in anticipation of getting stabbed like a prison shiv. They should put some sort of flush end cap on those.
Historically, every Jeep owner had a background in prospecting. One would not traverse the mountain dirt roads without their windshield down to get a good look at mineral/ore staining on the hillsides. Thus it should be obvious that when you engage prospecting mode, exposing your forward camera...
I've now driven my LE a couple hundred miles and the freeway I pop onto is an 80mph limit (yay Montana). I've not noticed anything concerning as it relates to steering. While its shape causes more push in cross winds, I can still drive it with my left arm on the rest and left hand on the bottom...
The factory applied a clear plastic to the rear fenders to protect them from crap thrown from the front. They are doing chip seal on the freeway near my house, and while the clear plastic works, I now have a billion tiny little tar dots on it. I tried Goo Gone, but that didn't work, my guess is...
He's talking about the experiences people are having where the front inner fender liners get sucked into the tire and chewed on.

The plastic is quite thin and there is no mount point in the midsection, so it can...
The manual mode for automatic transmissions will allow you to manually select gears. It will not allow you to lug or overspeed the transmission though, so it will still automatically shift up or down if one of those conditions exist.
Here's the route mine went to get to Billings...about 1,870 miles:
JB - 5/31
KZ - 6/4
KZ S - 6/6 - on train at Air Line Junction in Toledo, OH
6/11 - Gibson, IN
6/13 - Blue Island, IL
6/14 - Lacrosse, WI
6/15 - Dilworth, MN
6/17 - Mandan, ND
6/19 - Glendive, MT
6/20 - Laurel, MT (unloaded at...
In the Settings app, go to the Driver Aid and Safety section (titled something like that) and you should see the FCW setting to be warning only, warn and brake, and what distance it triggers at. I had to turn mine on when I picked it up from the dealer too.
Yeah it appears they got six of them yesterday. After taking the delivery on my LE, I delivered Bryan to pick up your truck after it got its tires. While I plan on going to the same or similar tires, I'll use the current ones until they need to be changed. I did throw in the slush mats, changed...
Yup, went from the loaded Cherokee to the LE... Cooled seats, auto wipers and as I've only had the thing for a few hours, does it have auto light brights? My other two cars have that and I like it out here in the boonies where I live. The lack of a 7-way adjustable driver seat may nag on me too...
Not exactly a thing one should have to do after paying a hunk of money, but after seeing some other's woes with the wheel well liners getting sucked into the tires I thought I'd do some preventative care. Where I live there can easily be 60-80mph gusts, not including the wind speed from driving...
It's at the dealership now. He said he truly doesn't know the hauling schedule as sometimes its quick, sometimes not. So I actually get it within the next hour or so. It was kind of a head-jerk from "early next week" to 30 minutes later "see you in two hours." Two steps ahead - I bought the sill...
