thank you! Would Mojave wheels still fit even though they have a different offset? I am the opposite of an expert on wheels, so I don't fully understand how that impacts things, other than making tires stick out a little more or less. I appreciate the help!
I have an Overland, but would like to switch to a 17 wheel/tire combo. I was thinking of getting some take-offs from the member marketplace, but I am not sure if Rubicon/Mojave/Willys wheels will fit on the Overland - is there a difference in offset that would create problems?
Sadly I ran out of time this summer to try it. Definitely runs the risk of being a "hold my beer" project, though! I might try to come up with something this winter, but I'll keep my eye out if someone on here figures it out!
I've searched through the website and can't find what I was thinking of doing, but if anyone has suggestions or can tell me why this is a terrible idea, please let me know: I would like to be able to drive to a destination (a trail or beach, many hours away) with the doors on, and then take off...
Yes, it would looks relatively easy to disassemble and swap out the parts. This video shows someone taking apart the grill to paint the inserts () , but the concept is the same to just replace them. I don't have pictures of my own, but I assume it would look like a black Overland front end...
Congratulations on surviving the trails! It looks like that was a great time, and you even made it to lovely Looo-ray. I'm hoping to get out there sometime this summer as well, at least to do Peter's Mill. Which trails were the videos from?
There was a post in the "mid atlantic" forum about a bunch of folks who did the "Flagpole Knob" trail in late April, I think. Here's a link to the thread: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/any-trails-open.30198/page-2
It's about 30 minutes south of Peter's Mill (Edinburgh, VA)...
So how did the trip go yesterday? We finally had good weather - I saw the videos on the other threa, but does anyone have more pictures or videos? Also, is it possible to do the trail in a stock Overland? It looks like it's a little less hairy if you drive to the right on the way up. Trip...
I have been frustrated by the lack of blue gladiators around here, so I was doing research on this same question the other day. I went to the Jeep website and searched for Gladiators by color in my area. There were 804 Gladiators of all trims available within 50 miles of my location in...
One of the other threads talking about the North Edition mentioned that the Jeep website listed full time 4wd Selec-Trac on the North Edition, but others pointed out that none of the Overland North Editions on the lots now had Selec-trac. I initially chalked this up to another Jeep...
So this isn't the perfect solution, but it will get you in the ballpark: Go to the Carvana website and select the "sell my car" option, then instead of putting in your vin or license plate, scroll down to the "don't know your vin?" option and manually select your information, and select "zero...
Sorry for the rambling reply, but I think May is the best month for traveling through the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia (except for the fall with the changing leaves). The weather will be warm but not too hot, and sometimes brisk in the morning, and it won't be as humid as June-Sept. If you...
I can't speak for outside Virginia, but the town of Staunton in western Virginia is one of my favorite little Blue Ridge cities that your wife would love. It's right near where I-64-E splits off from I-81, and totally worth the detour. Check out their visitstauntondotcom website. Tons of...
Not sure what pics you are looking for, but here is the link to the Lomax website. The pictures and videos on the home page are way better than I can take of my Colorado, and show all the things I was trying to describe. It has held up for almost two years looking as good as new with no leaks...
I don't know about the Undercover tonneau, but the Weathertech cover is made by Lomax, and I bought one for my Colorado and LOVE it. Right now it looks like both the WT and Lomax sites have them for about the same price, but Lomax is offering free shipping, so that's a big savings. Again, I...
