Yea, a little calmer, though I just discovered the passenger door lock not working the other day when I was installing door pockets to replace the worn out nets.
Hopefully a few of my issues can be resolved by inspecting the wire harnesses and plugs for the doors.
Transmission
Sun visor
Window switches
Heated steering wheel
Driver proximity door lock
Passenger interior door lock
Driver heated mirror
Door nets
(maybe more, getting hard to keep track of)
A lot of confusion comes from transmission places calling it a "flush" when it's really a fluid exchange.
They hookup a machine that interrupts the transmission cooler line to empty old fluid and bring in new fluid. The machine does not push or flush fluid through the transmission. It simply...
We are on the same page, I agree with your points. Small spacers are fine, taller spacers can bring more issues.
I consider a leveling kit a "lift", but that's just minor semantics.
I think all the bolded above are synonymous with "lift".
That's a good point. It's not really more lift, it's restoring the lift to what it normally is without the extra weight.
Using a spacer to level vs. using a spacer to regain lost height, I consider that to be different. If you're adding a spacer to level, you are adding lift. There is no...
A small 1/2" or 1" coil spacer can work with the Mopar kit. I wouldn't go any taller.
Not a bad alternative setup with those parts you have listed. I'd go with a different track bar though.
For 2.5" of lift in the front, you ideally need an adjustable track bar to get the axle centered...
I don't like the idea of adding spacers on top of the Mopar kit because it's not made for that lift height. The front shocks will be a little too short. Also the front sway bar links. Probably not enough to cause you issues, but maybe enough to bother you knowing it's not quite right.
I have the same wheels you currently have, the stock High Altitude 20s. Kind of hard to see in the pic. Running them with 1.5" wheel spacers.
You could certainly add a 1" spacer to the front of a Clayton kit. Many do this, it looks good, especially when you have extra weight like you do...
