I've had a pebble stuck somewhere between pads and calipers before. It squealed like hell. Pulled the calipers off investigating and a pebble with one side flat fell on the tarmacadam. I was happy it was such a simple fix.
I have a iPad mini mounted and installed, Gaia GPS, Waze, Google Maps, and a butt load of other related stuff on it. The Factory Navigation is junk. The 5 year sub to Gaia GPS was less than half what they want for this stupid update and Gaia is much more capable. I have a little less than 50 gb...
I have the aux switches, but...
There was a post here somewhere where a guy used a couple of the built in garage door opener buttons for transmitting to a receiver under the hood. From there you can power some light stuff or power a relay for more demanding things. No holes or running wires...
My iPad mini has 256 gigs. I have maps, apps, music, all kinds of crap on it. CD player is a one trick pony, it's mechanical, CD's take up space. I don't miss them.
When I was a punkass puke a "poster" was what came with Dark Side of the Moon 33rpm vinal LP (only thing available), now a "poster" is someone on YouTube. We still have punkass pukes though, puke long my friends, puke long. Punkass tradition.
Stock suspension Mojave, only suspension mod is Apex disconnects. GFC camper and gear. I go out for 2-4 weeks at a time so it's more of my home/support vehicle then anything else. I've done moderate trails, nothing horrific, the biggest problem I've personally encountered is the long wheel base...
You know that would have been valuable information if I would have paid attention. I just dumped them in and filled up when I found a gas station. It would have been a good experiment. Honestly, I usually put ethanol free gas in my Rotopax and it's fairly expensive in my area. I get the ethanol...
I have ran it down untill light is on and miles left read blank. I stopped before I was completely dry and emptied two Rotopax into the tank. I know it's not healthy but it happens. What's funny is the next day Mopar sent me a email saying that I'm below a 1/8 tank of fuel. Same has happened...
Question was drivability, oil burner Sport vs Rubicon. Man that is a hard one. I also looked at drivability and have a Mojave now. Sorry no help here, but I'd probably do the oil burner Sport between the two, but wouldn't trade my Mojave as far as drivability is concerned.
Got ducked and threw it in the center console. I was camping with a friend and I had my windows open. A little bird flew in my truck, I went over to look at it and it flew out the other side, but it had crapped on my dash. I took the duck out of the console and set it next to the bird shit. I...
My Father split the cost of my first vehicle with me. 1948 Chevy pickup. Three on the tree, bench seat with no seat belts, your baby could sit close and snuggle while you were driving. Ahhh the good ole days.
