I have a flashlight holder from quadratec that I have mounted on the side of the seat. On the MMP I have my knife mounted under the driver seat, and an element fire extinguisher under the passenger seat.
It drives just like stock but the center of gravity is a bit higher since it’s lifted so can feel the difference when turning. I also had the geo correction brackets installed which helped as well.
I’d say go for it if you want to keep the stock suspension. Although I’ve only had it lifted for...
I was going to go with the Mopar LCAs but after doing much research, the geo brackets seem to fit my needs better.
If anything, I can always buy the LCAs later and try them out.
Seems like AEV is the way to go. Finally bit the bullet and placed my order earlier today and it’s being delivered tomorrow. Also have the Geo brackets coming. Now to find time to install it. Haha
Love my Rokblokz! Best investment yet to help keep my Jeep looking new!
As for correcting the rock chips, you can get a touch up pen to fill in some of the holes. I personally haven’t used them yet but know friends who have and you can’t see tell there were rock chips until you look at it upclose.
About to install them on my Mojave this weekend. For the life of me I can’t seem to find the torque specs. Do you recall what you had to torque it to?
Ordered the Mopar Steel front bumper and was able to find a steel rear bumper with sensor holes. Have those being delivered this weekend plus all of the bolts and other parts to get them mounted properly.
Try the adapter if you haven’t already. They aren’t too expensive and solved my issue. Anytime I would make a call or use navigation, it would disconnect. It probably wouldn’t stay connected for more than 5-10 minutes without disconnecting and I would just unplug and plug back in.
Not sure if this will work as you are stating you are having Bluetooth issues as well. If you have an iPhone 12 or newer that came with usb c to lightning, you will need to use a usb to usb c adapter for the outlet if using the center console. I was having this same issue but after using the...
Glad I found this post! Was worried about them not fitting well on my stock Mojave but it seems like it will fit perfectly. Just placed my order and now I will wait for them to arrive! Also have a new steering stabilizer coming so will probably install both at the same time!
After 1.5 years I am finally able to say I am part of this club now. Had minor chips but nothing noticeable.
A family member had a similar crack on their windshield and had it professionally sealed. Not too noticeable from the outside but from the inside, it’s clear as day.
The chip/crack on...
Not too far! I’m over in Lake In The Hills. Have family in Pingree Grove so I drive out that way probably every other week.
I do a lot of camping and typically go to Wisconsin when I do, but haven’t had any luck finding any trails.
Been itching to go on some trails with my JT.
I live in NW Illinois as well. Been trying to find some local Jeepers in the area.
New to Jeeping as well so unfamiliar with destinations and trails in the surrounding states.
Willing to travel 150 miles or more, depending on location and event.
It will occasionally disconnect a couple times for when when I first start driving but doesn’t happen after. I’ll take that over it disconnecting constantly!
I was on the same boat when I picked up my Mojave. Wanted to keep with the gray/orange theme without going overboard on the orange.
I wanted to get splash guards to help keep the sides/doors cleaner in the winter so picked up a set of Rokblokz. Went with the black splash guards with orange...
I thought the exact same thing as well, but for whatever reason the usb c cable allows CarPlay to work without issues.
Been trying to find a solution to this for over a year and finally stumbled upon a post with this workaround.
