  2. Installation and Review: Rugged Ridge Locking Hood Catch

After reading @GOCAMPN excellent review I ordered a set right away. I had been looking for locking ones but all the others I had seen looked very cheaply made with cheezy locks. Mine arrived today (ordered direct from RR, $99 w/free 3-day FedEx shipping) and about 1/2 hours later they were...

As @californiajeeping said if it is 'new' you will still pay California Sales Tax (BTW-registration in CA is super high). But you only pay the difference in the tax sales tax rate from what you paid in the prior state. So LA at 9.75% moving from NH at 0.0% you would own 9.75%,, for say NJ at...

  9. Anyone paint or Linex the OEM front skid?

I used GOOP Coat-It Waterproof Epoxy Sealer & Protector as we use this on our white water rafts and boats. Bedliner-like consistency but has ceramic beads for abrasion resistance and graphite to give it a 'slippy' surface for sliding over rocks. Also with Kevlar fibers for strength. It works...

I use the Mile Marker Winch Shackle Mount. It is basically a rubber housing that slides over your rope's thimble, protecting it and giving a convenient grip. I like the rubber feature as if it is dropped or bangs again the bumper or other metal, no damage to it or the bumper/metal. And only $30.

  20. Bed Chop??!!!

Well, I'm in the camp of just really liking the looks. It would look great towing a small 5th wheel trailer like below, and then wheeling with the killer approach and departure angles.
