Thanks. Congrats to you as well. Unlike you though, I wasn't patient enough to wait for the lift. I had the dealer prep done this afternoon so I could bring it home and I'm dropping it back off on Wednesday so they can install the lift Thursday. I felt like I'd waited long enough.
I would say the mini. It does everything that the regular model does, but it installs with just one piece up under the dash without taking up your OBD2 port.
I wonder if that means I could be added as an accessory to a Jeep with the 7 inch screen. I wanted the trail cam, but couldn't justify also adding the 8.4 when I don't think I need it.
My dealer wanted something like $300 to put the wheels on, and that's after I showed him pictures of them with the tires already mounted. I'm 90% sure they had to be including mount and balance along with speedo calibration, even though I told them not to. Either way, I'll be swapping those out...
Don't do it. They seem to be moving through JB at lightning pace. My truck had the bed liner, tonneau cover and trail rail and I'm already in KZ after going into JB Tuesday or Wednesday.
I got word today that I'm also in KZ. Being that we're both in PA, maybe our trucks will share a ride together. My dealer, being his overly optimistic self, wants me to stop in tomorrow to do paperwork so that they can start my lift the minute they unload my Jeep.
After spending 70 days in D and about two weeks in D1, I got an email yesterday from Jeff that my Gladiator was built and in F (paint). Stopped by the dealer earlier today to discuss adding the Mopar lift prior to picking up the truck and was told I'm already in JB. Hopefully I'm in the home...
Thanks for the pics, looking good. I'm going to be running the exact same spec wheels and tires on my Rubicon if it ever gets here, also with the Alloy 1.5" level kit. This just confirmed I made the right choices.
I hate to burst your bubble, but it doesn't look like the 16's are available in the 5x5 bolt pattern for our Gladiators. Also, from what I've heard 16's likely won't fit with the front brakes, although I can't say 100%.
Up until I bought my Ram that I currently drive, every car I've owned but one was manual. That one car was a cheap $900 car I bought to drive while I worked to get my main car roadworthy again. When I ordered my Gladiator I test drove a base model JL 6 speed and the feeling it gave me was enough...
I'll be watching this thread. I have a Rubicon on order and should have my Alloy USA leveling kit delivered today. I'm undecided on tire size, though I'm heavily leaning towards 35's.
I've always liked Jeeps, but I've never owned one. I almost bought a Wrangler when I bought my Ram five years ago. I justified the Ram over the Jeep because I had just bought my first house and knew the utility of it would come in handy. Fast forward to two weeks ago when I saw a Gladiator...
