AMC did have a steering damper, I believe it was introduced then to keep that easy steer GM gear box from not feeling so smooth. I remember you could steer those things by almost breathing on the steering wheel it was so easy to turn. That was when 32.5s were monster tires to the world ;)
Also if you go to Jeep or it was last weekend and look at Gladiators they will give you a code for a "private offer" still for another 1000. Just used it last weekend on my Mojave.
I have thought about this and I think for my Mohave I am going to do the JL800 series from Voswitch. While I would love the OEM switch bank my old eyes and messing with the factory BCM harness these days has me worried.

Some of us went back and upgraded trim levels after we bought our original rigs. I started Willys and then went to the Mojave. Was thinking about Rubi but fell in love with the ride of the Mojave.
Let's see, got lift finished, leather seats, top painted, hood and cowl changed, bigger tires, upgraded shocks, upgraded tail lights I mean I traded my Hydro Blue Willys for a Bright White Mojave.
on my JK I cannot remember but the folks at Safelight know me on a first name basis. I ordered the Gorilla Glass in this one but finding out from posts here it may be a marketing thing and not really beneficial, currently been lucky with it so far.

Been thinking about looking at left over 22s and see if I can find a Mojave to upgrade my Willy's. If I could find a decent offer on my Willy's I may move on up.
Am I missing something on your mod? Aren't you essentially doing the same thing as the seat slammers? What makes one feel lower than the other? Was thinking of ordering the slammers
I love all the dark helicopter mindsets in these forums. So by these theories if you vehicle has any electrical issues and you have replaced any electrical component then they can deny warranties. Wow just hope nobody has a dead battery or a tail lamp to burn out.
