Sting Gray was my first choice, but in mid-June my dealer was not able to choose matching fender AND hard top. One (1) or the the other was available to choose (I can't remember which), but not both. So I bailed and went Billet. I'm guessing you have the black hardtop?

Don't feel bad! We're all just jealous. I'd be interested to see what your options are. Can you add them to your signature? Now that I am thinking about it, if they match what I ordered, I'd be slightly peeved LOL.

At this point, I would take delivery of my JTR on wooden wheels. It'd tick the guy off at work who's buying the take-offs, but he'd get over it.

I'm not sure if I feel better or worse, but I always look at the updated/complete builds on the tracker. Found a build (sheet and sticker) matching mine, with even more options. Ordered 5/14, so my thinking is given the same time frame, i'm a month out from that status. Hell, right now, I'd take it!

Broke down and pushed/escalated being in "D" status for 45 days with FCA Chat this morning. Feeling special (sarcasm) that I now have a case number and will be informed of updates via e-mail. Pretty sure that's the normal/standard process, so I'm not quite sure what having a case number does...

Nick, I knew it! I'll tell you, if someone on here had a M/T Gladiator within 50-100 miles of me, i'd be all for a short road trip, visit, BS session.

FCA chat this morning, still in "D", Saturday will be 45 days. Still not the longest by a far shot, but i'll tell you, when i see on FB guys getting autos in less than a month from ordering, its discouraging.

Very well put Evilhomer! I live in the automation/production world every day. When I sit back and attempt to imagine the shear number of potential combination of builds available and then trying to manage the supply of everything, delays and issues are inevitable. Quite honestly, I'm amazed...

My only saving grace in all of this is my hopes that living 30 minutes from the plant should shorten delivery time. I know from being in the JK/JL plant, the entire build process is very stream-lined, as long as there are no issues. I just hope I don't end up in D1 for a prolonged period like...
