My wrangler did what @Gvsukids described. Problem is, the torque on stock lugs is 130 ft lbs and the spacers were 80 or 100. So, when shops put lug nuts back on a few times at 130, it stretches the threads of the spacer making the spacer lugs weak. Which eventually "could" snap em. I had a...

Cold is definitely the problem. Mine only does it after sitting at work in teen° all day. The expressway is only a half mile away, so no time to heat up the trans before merging on with the crazies. They do not like it when I'm putzin along at 50-60mph because JT wont upshift.

Have you guys had any resolution to your mysteries? I just had a new valve body ordered to try to fix my issue that is similar to yours. It's on back order, pretty much till spring. At that time, I wont be driving in sub 20° temps. So, I'm certain it will fix my problem till next winter:facepalm:
