I’m starting to regret my decision to go with the Core TB. I’m running a stock height Mojave and went with the Core for a variety of reasons. Unfortunately I have run into two issues over the first few months after I installed it.
First (my fault for not reading the fine print on Steer Smarts...
Update on the original thread:
I installed the Falcon 3.3's on the Mojave. The install went well besides the fact it was below zero and freezing out (Glady barley fits in garage).
First impressions are good, install went smooth. The shocks are set to soft, with daily setting at 2.4. I ran the...
Eclik are incredible, although Jeep is starting to become a "four letter word" around my wife. If I dropped $5k on suspension, I'll be asking you guys about good divorce lawyers.
I'm starting two full bathroom remodels next week. Priorities...
I'm still thinking through this. If SS can have them back to me in under 14 days, I may just let the Jeep sit. Would It be problematic for the jeep to sit (wheels/tires on) in my garage without the shocks installed? Asking as I'd need to move it (push) to get my wife's 460 into the garage while...
$300, dang man. That was a steal. Shock surplus quoted me $700 for the set + shipping. All the cost and benefit analysis vs market options has smoke coming out of my ears.
Fox will but refuse to give me actual pricing or turnaround time. Shock Surplus stated the following.
" Once we receive them we will replace the seals, change the oil and do a full inspection on them. Should take us a week or less."
I know the 3.3's are serviceable but have been getting a...
Kevin, I'm not sure they are tuned specifically for the Mojave coils (may try the synergy 1-2'' coils). I really enjoy the current height as it has a lower CG and romps trails. It's not a "crawler".
I have talked to a couple reputable shops here that have been building Jeeps for years...
2020 Mojave - RPM 2.5 steering, Falcon Stabilizer, Core 4x4 TB, 37' Falken WP AT3W, 5:13 regear, HD Ball joints, JCR Bed Rack, Metalcloak Armor...
My Mojave Fox 2.5's are due for a rebuild. After going down the rabbit hole, talking to reputable shops here in Colorado, and reading 300 different...
Thanks for the input guys. I talked to a very knowledgeable shop who does Jeep builds and they quoted me under 3k. This included all gearing, fluids, 500mi inspection, labor. They were a pleasure to talk with and have years of Jeep and fabrication experience.
I know this topic has been addressed and best to death, but I’m hoping for some feedback.
I recently did something I thought I’d never do; I traded my built 5th gen 4Runner for a 2020 Mojave. The Mojave is in incredible condition, I scrutinized and looked over it in detail prior to purchasing...
