First chore is to take back some extra sheet rock and insulation. If you can imagine I've got the 2x4 and 2x6 going across the bed - but I'm running 2 2x10s down the length to support the drywall (so it doesnt crack on the way to Lowes). She's loaded with @ 300lbs drywall, nary a push on the...
You know, that's actually what the family minivan has been lacking this whole time. Trail badges. Good call ;)
Seriously though, I don't remember badges being a thing when I used to off road. I've never seen them on a rig in person; never "earned" one myself. I just assumed they're bling...
Like @Gatorized said...what's involved with the rhino lining for the decals & grill? That looks amazing AND functional, and I've never heard of that or seen it before. Can you point us in the right direction?
I do like the tool analogy; I almost think it would be fair to stick a badge on each rig. If you're military and qualify for a certain badge (airborne, combat, length of service, etc.) it goes on each uniform you wear. That's my two cents...
Picked her up this evening. It is Big Awesome, and I hope to get that 4Lo engaged this weekend...plus need to take some drywall back to Lowes, pick up some Kilz, maybe some grocery shopping. Too bad it's so cold - these are all chores for a topless rig.
My truck arrived this morning at @ 12:30 - I'll pick up later this evening. DTDHI shared my full custody log with me, and I'll post it below...as others have mentioned above the holidays will likely disrupt everything, but this might give an indication of what a possible normal flow and...
I couldn't find TNPJ (sorry buddy!), but if anyone else is looking I did find this sheet. It has Cassens (who I've seen listed on some other orders), as well as MTUP (who is tagged on mine). If you've gotten a carrier code and are curious, this sheet seems to have about 45 or so Auto Carriers...
Forum member DTDHI has volunteered on the gator thread to check status updates, and the sheet he provides is very informative. It had the custody logs for the vehicle, locations and dates.
I agree that level of information has not been easy to come by through the Chrysler Chat, dealer phone...
Ordered 11/9, Built 11/24. It sounds like it sat at the plant (Ottawa, on the tracker) until between the 26th and 28th - then it was moved to Argus for bed liner. The morning of the 29th, it went to Nitro Creek, and the next destination is listed as my dealer. I got the sticker late last...
I have a favor to ask of any Gator Owner with the body colored hard top...
What color is the inside of the top? I am considering ordering some headliners this Black Friday, but I don't know what color the interior roof will be (I won't see my Gladiator for another week or so at best)...
Hey Guys,
My Gladiator is on order - I'm D1 status right now, and it sounds like I go to build on November 24. I'll have a Gator Rubicon, and I plan on running it stock for awhile until I get a feel for it (I've been in my TJ for 15 years now...I'm kinda nervous about doubling my size on the...
I seem to remember reversible Nerf Bars for the TJ in a catalog back in 2004...I've forgotten the company and the details, and the closest thing I can find are these "Reverse-a-Bars":

Does anyone know of anything similar...
