Finally got around to measuring my jeep to see how unlevel it was. Couple surprises...
The front only measure about 1/2" lower than the rear....sure looks like more than that to the eye.
Every corner is different by about 1/2". Passenger front is the lowest, next highest is passenger rear...
Going to be making the journey shortly to pick up some lightly used 37's on Rockstar wheels. Super stoked (minus the upcoming 8hr round trip for them) because i think i got a great price on them and i've never had anything bigger than 33's in my Jeeping life!
Couple questions:
I've read that...
Think I found some lightly used 37x12.50 ridge grapplers local with wheels. They're a 20" wheel, either 9 or 10" wide with a -18 offset, hopefully that won't cause any rubbing issues. Fingers crossed i can make that deal work.
I can't believe that Walmart deal!! Was that a steep discount per tire, or was that a 4 for 3 kinda deal? And was this an intentional sale or did somebody in the web dept. have a fubar moment?!
Bought my 2020 JTR with a 2" Mopar lift on it. Currently running the stock Wildpeak tires but looking to upgrade to 37's pretty quickly. Anyway, i always thought i had a slight bit of sag in the front, but after replacing my factory plastic bumper this weekend with a steel knockoff version of...
Got mine installed this weekend, in stubby mode. Overall i'm pretty happy with it. As others have mentioned, zero instructions, hence my shackle mount question above. The hardware does feel a bit soft and I wish i would have ordered some better stuff from McMaster or Grainger ahead of the...
@Nickb1907 totally understand, i was just using you as an example of getting a price break since he clearly had no desire to do anything to make a sale. He said he would only price match with a full quote from another shop showing a complete breakout on pricing...and honestly, at that point I'm...
Well i called the local Discount Tire last night and had a less than stellar experience. I asked for pricing on the 37" ridge grapplers to confirm what their website said. The dude i talked with was not your typical salesman that was chipper to make a tire sale, in fact he made me feel like i...
Now i could handle that price for a 37" Ridge Grappler....I wonder if it's purely location (TX vs. WI) that they're darn near $100 cheaper??
And what did those set you back?
Tire rack costs aren't much better, and at that point i'd rather buy local.
Just hoping to find a sale or something to shave a few hundred buckaroo's off!!
Got sticker shock with the price of 37 Nitto Ridge from Discount tire, so looking for better deals since i'm not dead set on the Nitto's. Anyone know if anyone is offering some good deals right now? I want 37's for a 17" wheel and would like to stay with a 11.5 or 12.5 width. JTR spends 99.9%...
I've never looked into pricing on tires this big before until I got my JTR and needless to say i'm in sticker shock.
$462 for a 37x12.5x17 Nitto Ridge Grappler at Discount Tire...is this really what it will cost to get into 37's per tire?!?!
