Very interesting how the latest wave of responses differed so much from the first few. I have already committed to the fella that I would buy it and have given him down payment. Supposed to go over to his house this weekend to install it. Everything with it looks absolutely brand new so no...
Just bought a "like new" ARB stubby bumper with Warn VR-10 winch (see pict) which a friend and I plan to install on my new Mojave this weekend.
My question is do any of you think we will have to remove the front crash plate that comes on the Mojave in order to hook up the bumper?? I'm hoping we...
Really loving my new Mojave and have added a few things in the month I've owned it. However, my plans are not really to do any hardcore off-roading.
Yesterday, while going to the grocery store, a truck pulled up beside me and a fella asked how I liked my new Gladdy. He said he had just sold...
Ha, I just read this and had to laugh. I have been in sales all of my adult life and I guess this was just byproduct of my default mode. When I was doing it I was really excited and couldn't wait to share it and I started thinking like a t v commercial, ha.
I'm not getting a dime for the...
Well, as to hitting the roll bar, I don't have a problem with it. Not sure if most of your height is in your torso or legs (mine is primarily in legs). Also, I have the insulation or whatever it is called, in the roof portion and I still don't hit it. And I am wearing a hat with I say that...
It's time for those of us who are tall to RISE UP and cast off the shackles placed on us by those of average height!!
I'm 6' 7" and I haven't driven a vehicle that didn't have the seat all the way back since I was 16 years old, but now, I can!
How???? Welllll, my friend, I am glad you asked...
I wondered if he was a "one man crew" when I chatted and ordered last weekend. I mentioned in one of my emails that you had said really nice things about him on the forum. I'm sure he appreciates it.
Geeee........ why would anyone put a fake "Rubicon" decal on when they could put a fake "Mojave" on just as easily.... nyuk, nyuk, nyuk... :giggle::giggle::giggle:
Yep, my lettering is arriving from them tomorrow. Just chatted with them yesterday.

He did say that delivery is taking a couple of days longer as they are covered up at the moment.
Please know that if you have bought a MT Gladiator in last few months, it has already had the recall update. I got mine in late March and it already has it. Not sure when the cut off began, but the dealer can tell you.
Folks, I am not trying to make a "silk purse from a sow's ear" but there is a lot of truth in what Dan W. says above. I'm not sure if it is a generational thing or what, but in my job I'm in the car with other drivers a lot. Mostly automatics, but some are MT's and it astounds me the number of...
I'm interested in saving the Jeep letters, too and did some "you tubing" and found a great idea on saving them. You still gently use the heat gun, but instead of prying them off with a tool, you saw them using dental floss..... Not too crazy about this guys idea of removing the adhesive...
I read this one and saw the part about some Jeep drivers "using clutch pedal as foot rest" and almost spit out my coffee...... Worst single thing you can do as it will devour your clutch. I had a summer job in college of working with a tree surgery group. Older fella in one of the dump...
I completely agree that you should change it now. It is your first oil change and as my dad always said, the manuals are written by the company that wants you to buy another when this one wears out. So if they say 7500 miles, I change at half that. Oil is cheaper than engines.
