I had a badlands Bronco on order and canceled when my spot came up because I decided to have a Jeep with a truck bed.
You're right that they're not direct just loosely related in offroad capabilities. I know angles and such are different but the gladiator is great off-road.
If they made it the same size and solid front axle people would have complained they just copied Jeep. Differentiation and success of the Bronco will help drive both Jeep and Bronco forward. Win win. I hope it does well.
I went with 20mm. I wanted to make sure they have enough bite but were not too long. I believe factory rails, I don't know their thickness, use 25mm. I used M6 Shoulder Bolts for the cab side as I didn't want a rail there yet.
Careful with the tap. The holes are really gummy and you could break...
I took them off too. It's just an appearance thing so I sat around prying them apart.

Mine came in today. Awesome fit and quality materials. I'll be buying more Invictus products. I didn't doubt they were well made but photos didn't show how slim, but strong, the material is. These are a little more expensive than the no name popular on Amazon ones but are leaps and bounds...
It shouldn't matter what relay, Trigger Six, Four, or another brand you're using. Just make sure you don't have a higher draw than the particualr channel you're using. The port doesn't really know if you use five lights each at one amp or one light at five amps. Another thing to watch out for is...
