  1. Diode Dynamic LED Floods - (don’t work)

Replaced OEM plastic bumper with a MP Concepts aluminum winch bumper. Replaced halogen floods with DD Elite series LED floods. Removed plastic bumper flood lights wiring harness and installed in new bumper. Used DD’s wiring jumpers to connect everything. Lights won’t come on! Anyone else run...
  2. Purchasing Used Gladiator, WANT DIESEL

Here is a JD Powers assessment on a low time JTRD Farout, factory new engine at 7000mi. It is priced at this appraisal amount, which is a couple thousand more than what I paid for mine (in Dec 23). This is a dealer price.
  3. Purchasing Used Gladiator, WANT DIESEL

I bought one of the last JTRDs made in Dec of 23. It went on a diet, got a winch/ aluminum front bumper and a smartcap/RTT. You don’t want a bunch of stuff in front of the radiator! Keep that area clear and you won’t have issues with cooling. I also removed the aux battery and installed a jumper...
  4. Smart Stop/Start

    I bought this one - https://www.autostopeliminator.com/collections/jeep
  5. How big of a winch do I really need?

My big trailers are all aluminum, 2200lbs empty
drive the ATV/Snogos off & winch the whole works out.
  6. How big of a winch do I really need?

I just installed a Zeon 10S on my JTRD. Lots of really crappy roads /trails in the North country. So the winch is for getting me unstuck in the middle of nowhere
we also have 7months of snow/ice covered roads. The 10S was a tight fit! Didn’t have to remove any material but it was close. I think...
  7. RSI Smart Cap with Roof Top Tent

I don’t really care if they are concerned! I gave up on aluminum canopies a long time ago, and I have a TIG welder in the shop.
  8. RSI Smart Cap with Roof Top Tent

The biggest problem with aluminum is, it work hardens over time and cracks. Hauling a load on an aluminum canopy, will lead to repairs down the road
It is light and easily repaired. Eventually though - aluminum’s too brittle

  9. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

    he said “4800lbs loaded”
. Manufacturer would have the empty weight

  10. 1 Ton and 40"s JTRD

Nice! I have a similar story, bought a 23 JTRD in Washington St. in Dec of 23. I think I figured mine was 18% off MSRP. Drove it back up to Alaska in May of 24. It also is Sarge Green and is currently undergoing a diet program!
  11. RSI Smart Cap with Roof Top Tent

My RTT has two base bars running parallel to the smartcap channels, but well inboard. The crossbars are needed to make the attachment perpendicular to the RTT base bars. You would need a RTT that mounted perpendicular to the smartcap channels to have any chance of attaching to the vertical bolts...
  12. Seats are Hard as a Rock. More comfortable aftermarket seats?

My 23 rubi with leather seats, are the most comfortable seats I’ve run across.
  13. Diesel Aux Battery - How do I delete it?

23 JTRD, when I pulled the Aux battery, it was reading a volt lower than the main. Put the charger on it and it would only go up to 12.3 and immediately start dropping off when you pulled the charger. This AGM battery is only 1.5yrs old and is junk, the ESS would only work if you drove it for a...
  14. What fridge in bed

Costco has the Igloo fridge/freezer. I bought one a little over a hear ago
very good price for a big unit! I also have a dometic that is 1/2 the size, for weekenders. The igloo has worked flawlessly and doesn’t draw much
Will run on the JTRD’s 400w inverter when driving - solar gen when parked
  15. ORACLE Lighting's Father’s Day Sale is On — Time to Light Up Your JT Build đŸ”„

Thanks for the discount! I just ordered the reverse lights and plug & play harness for the JTRD. My Fathers day gift to myself 😎
  16. Eco Diesel intake manifold failure

    one available at mopar,
  17. Diesel Aux Battery - How do I delete it?

So with the diesel, you are attaching the aux battery cables to the main battery and not pulling any fuses. Unless I missed something?
  18. Eco Diesel intake manifold failure

Too bad you didn’t remove the EGR and put a plate over the hole.
  19. OK, need some help on ESS

Removed Aux bat, installed larger main bat. Installed Autostop Eliminater. All is good
This method should be listed on survey
  20. Pressurizing the Bed to Cut Down on Dust

You still need some tailgate seals with the Smartcap
the dust will creep in from the rear about 6” or so. Still a pretty good system though.
