Pennzoil 5w-40 Euro on amazon. Oem filters from dieselfiltersonline.com. No need to have any more discussion, it's the cheapest oil service by a landslide while still using the correct components.
Lubricity being claimed by the majority as the reason for pump failure is so inconsistent, no one can draw a direct correlation between the two.
I cant speculate on the real cause, only the one this forum has made up in their heads.
So should we keep buying worthless diesel additives or not? One guy had a pump fail at 3k miles with additives and I have over 60k miles without? Seems like lubricity isn't the problem guys.
A continuity test would obviously troubleshoot a "short" when testing genius. Your spineless general statment that doesnt assist in helping makes me think you're either a robot or an idiot.
Is it odd I've put over 60k flawless miles on the pump without additives and filling up at any random fuel station i could find...
Most people on this thread haven't actually had a failure.
Insert sarcasm*
Everyone thinks that Bosch dropped the ball when designing the pump for North America which is the reason why people keep dumping snake oil additives into their tanks.
I wish you the best of luck having a dealership properly documenting a "noise" during your warranty period which will then lead to them providing support outside your warranty period. Thats a real lottery draw my friend.
