Just dropped my truck off at John Elways in Claremont, California. The were honest with the service bulletin and told me if diagnosed the part will take about 10 days to order. Hoping that is the case, as they mentioned they had another vehicle in the shop with the same issue.
Nothing huge. I noticed the steering getting more “loose” and I am planning to call the dealer and see if I can get them to change out from the aluminum to the black steering box. From what I understand that makes a huge difference.
I notice you are from Chino Hills.. me too! If you are ever interested in getting a group together let me know! I dont have much experience with local trails but always up for an adventure.
How Long - Forever! I am in in love with this truck!
Mods - Front and rear bumpers and LED lights. Nothing to crazy planned as of yet
Lift - 1.5" Terraflex kit is good for me. (for now at least!)
Tires 35" Tires M/T with new wheels
Wouldn't hurt to have a conversation with the other jeep owner. Assuming is never a good thing. Who knows, you may end up hittin the trails with them some day!
I was talking to a guy about his gladiator and he was running a 3.5" rough country lift with 37" on 3.73 gearing. He had nothing but great things to say. But he did also mentioned he was going to regear to 4.88 in the upcoming weeks..
imo sticking with 35's and a 2.5" lift would look great!
Thank you. I have noticed with the larger hills it takes more time to get going but nothing I wasn't expecting. In my opinion it can still gitty up if I need it to. I am waiting on a part to be able to adjust the tire size through the jscan app and look forward to see how it changes the...
