Unused hard top. I purchased the Dual Top Group with my Gladiator Rubicon. I have never used the hard top. Now I am sure I never will. It is just taking up Hangar space.
$999 or best offer.
I’m not sure why anyone with a smart phone would do it. I would never trust a map that’s updated every few months over just asking Siri or opening google which is updated several times per hour. CarPlay rocks. I’ll never drive another car without it.
I absolutely need the Ecodiesel to tow. The Pentastar simply won’t go uphill with a horse in my trailer. I’m wondering about the towing capacity of a 4XE. Range is an issue in Utah. Bolts, Leafs, and even Teslas can be found littering the sides of the road and very remote places.
Both. My JTRD on 35s was purchased strictly for towing. Off-road pop-up camper, horse trailer, etc. I just like to see how they are sitting with various tongue weights. Thank you for posting.
I’ve had 3 sets of KO2s on JL/JLUs which I think are the best combination for on and off road but my Gladiator is running 35 inch Dura Trax and I love them. A little bit more aggressive off-road and the on road ride is pretty good.
Yes. One case of limp mode was simply a plug coming loose on one of the 35,000 wiring harnesses. I swear there are more wires on this thing than my last three houses combined.
Oh. And I stand with Ukraine. They are being slaughtered by a neighboring madman. I cannot ignore their predicament.
I’m very happy for you. I’m looking forward to the same experience hopefully soon. After 3 trips, three times in limp mode, a the successful replacement of the turbocharger after over a month wait, I’m looking forward to getting back on the road. (Waxing my beloved stingray today) I may be doing...
Update: Jeep Customer Care has sourced an intake manifold, turbocharger, and nearly enough parts to complete a repair. They are definitely trying. They also said that they will ship the Gladiator here when finished. I’m optimistic.
All good information. Thank you. My first choice would be to simply repair this vehicle. I ordered it exactly the way I want and it’s practically new. I’ve also put about 10 grand in wheels, tires, winch, bumper, etc. They are just telling me that parts are simply unavailable.
I loved my Gladiator. I waited two years for the trailer brake controller but when it finally came available I excitedly ordered a Rubicon eco-diesel, checked almost every option box, added bedliner, wheels and tires, Warn winch and a bumper…
At 13,000 miles and in a very remote part of...
Was I screaming? The interactions I’ve had with the Jeep Cares people have been very pleasant. They are doing all they can. Just a few minutes ago I was informed that the reason turbos are unavailable is the factory shut down and they are in the process of searching for a new vendor.
Yes. I...
I don’t quite follow. I have avoided taking it out of town solo, always have a back up vehicle except for this last leg. Is leaving the city limits painting myself into a corner?
Yes. We’re using UHaul.
No. I’m not buying another vehicle.
The main point of my rant is that I don’t think...
… Update. Sitting pretty helplessly in a hotel in Amsterdam. The dealership says the turbo charger is definitely shot. Sensors in the exhaust system are gone as well. They are looking around for what else they can find. Mechanical things break. I get it. The problem is there is not another turbo...
I was a Chevy guy through and through for a lot of years. Even my simple Colorado ran strong for 20 years without a hitch. I’m convinced it was for one simple reason. Not a single chip or computer in the entire vehicle. Same story with 25 years in a Toyota 4 x 4 pick up. I don’t think this is...
