I’d say, overall, I get waves from about 6/10 Wranglers I see on the road. Not sure if I’ve had my Gladiator long enough to draw any conclusions, but I’ve noticed if the Wrangler is modded in any way I will most likely get a wave. If it’s stock, I’d put it at 50/50. So, I’d agree with...
Great job on the video, Hawk. I had the same experience you did with others gathered around the truck when I arrived for pickup. All the salesman came out when I drove up and were raving about the color in person and added they had already had to wave away several customers who went straight...
I asked my dealer to arrange for a Line X install before I picked up the truck. However, they let me know they had recently switched to Bullet so I gave the nod for that. I’m no expert on these things, but I am extremely happy with it.
There is some info online hinting that the initial creator...
2/3 Freedom Panels off and a slow cruise through the wooded, peaceful, Confederate trench lines of the Fredericksburg Military Park. I am ready for retirement. Looked like another gentleman, who had already reached retirement, was doing the same thing with his wife in a Corvette.
He chose poorly.
Good find, Eric. Safford took that picture as I was pulling out. That's me through the windshield with a stupid grin on my face, talking to the salesman.
I'd argue the point, however, that safford_offroad currently has a Gator Gladiator, cause that one is sitting in my driveway.
This is the first new vehicle I've bought for myself since 1992 and the first Jeep I've ever owned. I'll stipulate that I may be in full-blown mid-life crisis mode, but this is truly the best purchase I've ever made. All of you guys are going to love it. And don't be afraid of the color; it...
This is the same truck so it darkens up nicely in the evening or under cloud cover. I think black rims and blackwall tires would look terrific as well. I may plasti dip the stock rims at some point, but I really like them with the white lettering on the KO2s.
No rubbing at all with 33s. There are some threads in the Tire/Wheel section regarding how close 35s might get you to rubbing; it sounded like it might require some trimming in some instances. 33s seem perfect to me since they fill the wheel well nicely and stay nice and tucked under the...
Direct sun really washes out the green, which was evident when I took the first photos on Wed. It’s overcast here today, and the truck darkened up nicely.
A few more photos from the salesman with the new KO2s (33s) and the bedliner. Many thanks to Rocksalt and Wxman for the idea on the tire/wheel combo. Had planned to plasti dip the stock rims, but I like them with the white letter KO2s. Looks exactly like something an old man with a gray beard...
