So I got an email from customer care today saying my order was in the system. Gupton was cc'd too. I don't think I've ever gotten an email like this in my 2 previous orders. I hope this means we're getting built soon.

That sting gray with the colored bumper...WTF. Could a bumper ever be more sexy? How do I get that in Gobi?

Nice. Its too bad the Gobi color on the Jeep site does't do that color any justice. In person its just something else. I had a 2017 JK in Gobi and it was amazing what different shades of light did to the color. Just so in love with it.

Did you order a Rubicon ecodiesel by chance? In my recent order at Gupton, I was told a bedliner couldn't be ordered because it was a weight issue in shipping. Makes no sense to me, because I don't see how losing $525 more in a sale wouldn't offset shipping costs. But whatever.

On the build sheet the dealer provided me that had my VIN on it.

Does anyone know why the "SAFETY GROUP" dropped by $100? Ordered a Rubicon this week and on the build sheet it was $995 instead of $1095. Not complaining...unless they dropped something that I was expecting. I need my proximity locks man!!!

She told me to email her for the VIN "in a few days". She replied to my email from this morning with both. Go ahead and email her!

I ordered from them Tuesday as well. I've got a Gobi JTRD deposit down. It will be interesting to see the build process of our orders and which one delivers first! I e-mailed Renee this morning for a VIN/VON per her instructions.

Especially when they literally "own" the competition (softopper). This just isn't good business.

They raised that to $499 now. If you have paperwork documenting the old $349 they will probably honor it. They did with mine, but luckily we caught it when we were checking over the paperwork.

I got it, and its by far the best option I chose out of all them (And they are all great). It is so awesome in traffic and has probably saved me from a few speeding tickets. The only thing Ive noticed with it is that if the car in front of you changes lanes, it seems to get confused and brakes...

How did you end up getting 7% below invoice? Did you special order through him or buy off the lot?
