And honestly after buying close to 15 new cars in my time I would say I have never had any experience this sort of problem that is so impactful in such a short period of time off the lot. So I guess you are right it is unique to me. It is what it is. Doesn't mean we have to be quiet about it though.
I get what you are saying but these valve covers are known to be defective. So before one is sold to a customer replace it with the new part. Oh wait, that means they can't sell it because the parts are not available. God forbid they have to eat any money on it, they would much rather sell it...
Yeah I know it was more a statement of let Jeep suffer vs the consumers. Jeep is allowing these to be sold knowing that if they encounter this problem the customer is without the vehicle for weeks, maybe months. So repair it before it is sold even if that requires it to sit on a lot for months...

Are these valve covers leaking at this low mileage.? I have read about them causing this problem. Is it on the right side? I can see the O2 sensors on the driver side and they look fine.
