Wanted some black on the tailgate, but not the whole mid section as seen on many others. Still deciding whether or not I like it. Also have the gladiator badge from hauk coming, so I may test that out on top of this.

I took it off the same day. Ordered a matte black piece to wrap the tailgate it that area side to side. Will keep it blank.

I agree with everybody else. I was going for a smaller version of the retro look (I don’t like how in your face the super large letters are) and it just didn’t turn out right. They’ve already been taken off. $50 I won’t get back, but it was worth a shot.

I agree. Unfortunately it throws off the spacing just enough to make the right tailgate hole visible when they're level due to how the top and bottom parts of the "P" on the left hand side stick out.

Thanks for your input. I’m still 50/50 on them. The only challenge I see with your plan is trying to cover the holes. Might be hard to avoid uncovering them when making the cutout.
