I did lay my rig on it’s side one time running one of the ‘Chile Challenge’ trails in AZ, but that was long after I had figured out how to pick a group to wheel with & picked some pretty gnarly obstacles.
Early on, there were Many folks on the trail that thought a ‘foreign’ rig couldn’t cut it...
Not trying to minimize your story, but I cut my teeth wheeling a Samurai. So yeah I totally believe those assholes left you. Gotta be selective about who you trust on the trail. Glad it worked out for you.
Imagine the interest if Jeep brought a production-ready 5.7L JL or JT to Easter Jeep Safari. I know the odds are low (but not zero!) Question is, what will they bring since 'electrification' is no longer the soup du jour? With all the 12-for-12 duck & Convoy projects, will they bring anything...
This seems counter-intuitive, dropping unprofitable programs & delaying new rollouts while current product is selling sounds like they should be making money now? Lot of ground to make up from the great ‘EV experiment’ tho.
I have heard whispers of a new/smaller V8, something like 4.0L. If close to 5.7L hp that could be a good candidate.
Assuming it's not vaporware :giggle:
Agreed, and I have noticed that not a single person 'interviewing' anyone from Jeep has asked that question. It's as if they have been forbidden to ask it.
