I don't see why that wouldn't work. They come completely flat. I'm pretty sure you could turn them around and swap sides.
I'm not a fan of logos either. That is why I opted for the black flaps with black logo. You can barely see it.
Looks great!
I am still happy with my RC 2.5" front level kit. It's been on for over 6 months. Combined with some Daystar rear .75" spacers, and the Mopar lift lower front control arms, it is still riding great. Plenty of room for 37's. I have not experienced any weirdness, squeaks, or clunks...
Currently thinking about setting up the JTR for solo overlanding trips. But for dry camping in the RV, I use a sealed 12v battery with my older cpap machine I keep in it. I do not use the humidifier. I can last almost a full week.
My plan on the Gladiator is to use a smaller motorcycle battery (...
I lost my favorite coffee cup after setting it on my previous TJ's flat fender. I didn't notice it until I went around a corner and heard it break. Faccck!
I haven't left anything on a Jeep fender since.
Only a couple things that aren't noticeable on mine.. so far. Mopar lift control arms, and a Cooltech towed vehicle harness. But, you can see the outlet where I connect the light cable to the motorhome.
37x12.5x17 So far I like them. No wobbles or shimmy. Still very quiet for an MT. Getting 16 mpg average. Wheels are Quadratec Rubicon Extreme 17x9. Can't remember exact bs/offset, but it tells you on their website. I bought them because they were on sale for $99 ea!
I have the larger of the Smitty compressors. It gets pretty darn hot. Too hot to handle in some places. I let it cool down before putting it back in its storage bag. I don't think I would want it touching anything like seats or carpet.
Mine has the factory bed liner. It seems a little thinner than the Line-X that I had on my previous truck. I bought my JTR off the lot instead of ordering it. I found one with everything I wanted on it.
If I were to order another one, knowing what I know now, I would probably not order the bed...
Looks great! I love my Arcus winch bumper. I guess it was a fun day when I installed it. Kind of a PITA, and fun, all at the same time! I was glad I had a friend helping me for a much needed extra set of hands. I ended up needing to run and get longer bolts due to installing Maximus-3 flat...
I had an old Warn XD9000i winch on my TJ. I bought it used from a friend that came off a YJ he bought to fix up and flip. It was at least 10 years older than my 2004 TJ, if not more. I bought it because my first ever winch (Smittybilt XRC8000) broke on me during a pull within a year.
I was...
Any shop with a welder would be able to easily attach another threaded piece back on.
Or, crisscross a couple zip ties to hold the bracket on. My old TJ had its rear brake line brackets held on to aftermarket control arms with zip ties. They lasted for over a decade!
I have no idea! Whatever DT sells. I originally had these on some JL Rubi wheels I put on my 2016 JK Wrangler. I guess Jeep changed frequencies sometime in the JK line. The newer JK uses the same sensors as the JL/JT. I took the tires and wheels off the JK, and put them on the Gladiator when it...
First planned camping trip isn't until mid April...as of today. I'm sure it will be just fine. Picture above with RV is from last season on 35's. All I had to do for tow bar angle was reverse the two hitch tighteners on the hitch and riser. That gained me the inch I needed.
I also went from 35's to 37's recently. If I didn't have the 4:1 Rubicon transfer case, I would be looking more seriously at a re-gear. 4lo is not compromised in any way off road, unlike my previous Jeep with the non-Rubi transfer case and larger tires. I had to re-gear that one. Constantly on...
I'm going to find out next month! I flat towed mine all over last season with 35's. I don't think I'll have any problems with the new 37's. I have friends that tow their JLURs with 37's.
I swapped out a crappy set of adjustable arms for a set of Savvy/Currie double adjustable arms on my TJ. It made it soooo easy to dial in pinion angles and caster. But, it is an extra set of Jam nuts to keep an eye on. Worth the trade off. I am not sure what is out there for the JT.
None that I know of. If you compare thicknesses of the front and rear sway bar, the front is much much thicker.
On my TJ, I ran disconnects, then an Antirock off road sway bar with the stock rear sway bar. The rear bar did not limit flex at all.
