The Tyger cover has been reinstalled with the new foam and it's perfect. What Tyger should have supplied in the first place! The 3/4" foam leaves no gap and the adhesive is probably 10 times as strong. Foam is much denser than original but compressed just fine by the cover. CloudBuyer 1"x 3/4"...
The foam thing is just a little disappointing considering this is their Gladiator specific cover. My guess is that their choice for the relatively thin foam (3/8") is they only considered the thickness of the plastic trim rails on the sides of the bed but did not account for the additional gap...
Well it appears I may have been a bit premature in my new bed cover joy! Apparently when I was getting everything lined up, I knocked the foam strip that sticks to the front bed rail loose and found it hanging between the bed and the cab. It wasn't really thick enough (3/8") to seal the gap...
Tyger Gladiator specific cover arrived yesterday and installed this morning. Took about 45 minutes total and no adjustments needed after install! Looks good to me . Very impressed with the quality. Thanks to all who posted.
As long as the end result looks and functions ok. Can't help but wonder why the tapered rail mounting. Maybe something specific to the shape or dimensions of the Gladiator bed. Perhaps they found it improves the latching. A heck of a lot of Colorado covers are installed (without the rails being...
Just noticed the plate in your pics. I'm in East Mesa. If close maybe we could meet for a coffee and compare bed covers lol. Nice Mohave. Sport S w/Max Tow here. Had a 2014 JK Rubicon until Nov. 1st when a young girl made a left turn in front of me. Totaled the Rubicon but at least I am...
Just reread your Gladiator specific thread. I had read it before but did not realize it was the same cover I was asking about. So "thru caution to the wind" and ordered it. Direct from Tyger they threw in a bottle of cleaner/protectant and a 5% off code, so $236.xx. So does it actually have 3...
Appreciate the info on the Gladiator specific tri fold fit but I am kind of sold on the soft roll up covers. It does seem like the tri folds are the more popular choice though. Having never had a truck before, let alone a bed cover, maybe I am missing some
The Tyger roll up covers have developed quite the reputation as a durable, lower cost bed cover for not only Gladiators but many other trucks as well. I am just trying to find out if the one being sold as specifically for the Gladiator (TG-BC1J9060) is actually shaped differently at the rear...
Was hoping to hear if anyone has experience with the Tyger rollup cover specifically for the Gladiator. The popular Tyger roll ups for the Colorado look great except the Colorado's rear corners are a little more "squared up" vs the Gladiators more rounded contour. The part numbers are different...
