I totally agree with the people that have said get rid of the Maverick. Keep the Charger! Before I bought the Gladiator our lineup was JLU (wife’s), Ram 1500, and a Saab 9-3 Aero convertible. The Saab probably isn’t fast in comparison to a Scat Pack, but it’s a turbo V-6 with a tune. I sold the...

Thanks for the firsthand knowledge! It’s good to hear that they actually do some different testing. I can’t imagine anything in my line of work (aviation) getting up to 125C. Our jets don’t seem to like anything over 90F but they are ancient ?. A quick example of what I was talking about: we had...
Speaking from experience as a project manager for a custom home builder, that is spot on. It’s all about maximizing profit for a tract home builder so the cheapest stuff gets installed. Custom is slightly better as long as the homeowner picks out decent products.

Lucky you! I tried to do that first, minus the gently part haha. So I stripped the head of the screw, removed it with vice-grips, had to find a matching screw with the correct threads, and then get those taps and do it the right way. It had a note about that in the directions for my tonneau...
Mine is the Hydro Blue and has been great in the snow! This was the other morning on the way to work. I stopped to grab a coffee and saw this in the lot. I walked a few circles around it to appreciate what the owner had done. If you’re on this forum, I like your truck!

Your local hardware store should have the taps and a T handle to put them in. I think the large threaded holes are 8mm and the smaller ones are 6mm. It’s as easy as putting a screw in with a screwdriver.
I drove the stretch from Silverton to Ouray at night once, definitely felt uncomfortable on parts of it. I wanted to do it during the day so I could enjoy the surrounding area. I’m not sure what would be worse actually because I couldn’t see the drops like that one.
I knew that this size bed was all that I would need. The trailer makes up for not having a “real” truck bed. I guess this lifestyle truck just fits my lifestyle perfectly. Without a doubt, I have used it for more “truck stuff” than my dad has in his 2500 and 1500 combined. I just say that I am...
Yes! When I was buying mine it was between the Sport, Sport S, or an Overland. After months of debate I went with the Sport S. A Rubicon or Mojave weren’t on my list because it’s just too much unnecessary stuff for what I use a truck for. Thanks for bringing that up. I’m definitely happy...
