Yes, some sort of sliders / steps / running boards are on my list to acquire as well. I must admit I didn’t necessarily think about them stopping road crap coming up on the sides but it makes sense.

Oh gotcha. No, the third panel is fixed but removes with 2 thumbscrews if you want your bed fully open again. Pics below of 1/3 folded back and locked and 2/3 folded back and locked.

No, it’s a hard cover tri-fold from Rough Country so the back 2 sections fold all the way back on to the 3rd fixed section behind the cab allowing pretty good bed access. It locks fully closed too, and also locks with the back 3rd open, so is pretty flexible over all. I’m happy with it, and got...
