I had good luck towing a ~4,000 lb boat/motor/trailer rig from Michigan to Florida and back. It was the first thing I did with my Gladiator after I bought it. I got about 14 mpg, made it through the Smokies great, didn't notice it too much back there. Was able to keep up at 70-75 on highway...
Adaptive Cruise Control is really cool. I recommend doing whatever it takes to check that box. My dealer told me all of those modules are in the box under the rearview mirror so it probably won't conflict with your antenna.
I waffled over two identical trucks, one diesel and one gas. I went with gas. The financials were pretty close. (would need about 100k miles to get back the $)
I opted for the simplicity of the gasser. Less worry on a few levels - emissions, fuel availability, repair costs. I also didn't...
I think the current Gladiator is better but I think it's a crime against automotive fun that almost 30 years passed where nobody sold a convertible pickup. I like that the Dodge existed and tried.
75% of new vehicles are black, white, or some shade of gray. Less than 2% are convertibles...
I just noticed that after 6 months with my High Altitude with caramel color stitching that one of my dash panels is gray stitching, from an Overland. Just a factory mistake. All other stitching throughout the cabin is caramel. Looking to have my dealer correct this. Can't unsee it now.
I usually dislike neutrals and think the whole automotive world's gone boring grayscale -- but I really like Jeep's Gobi and Sting Gray finishes. Very unique neutrals, especially the Gobi.
Jeep's about the only company still making green from the factory. I was stunned to learn that less than 1% of all new cars today are green of any shade. I've had a few green cars in my life so I was surprised, but look around and there's very few green cars, especially late model ones that...
What was it like to install on the sides, and how does it hold up?
I have a bedrug and love it, but it goes around the wheels and doesn't go up the sides (floor and tailgate only)
Sounds interesting. I was raised in the UP but have never been to Drummond Island. Taking vacation around that time and it looks intriguing. I've never done a proper trail ride since I got my Jeep. Just camp and fire roads so far.
Looking at diving the DeTour Passage too. Might have a...
People buy what they know, and are familiar with, and it's hard to make them consider something new. Jeep is trying to get truck buyers to try a few new things -- switch brands, go midsize over fullsize, have a convertible, etc. It's also trying to get Jeep and Wrangler buyers to try what they...
