Uh, yes, you are correct! My bad, I forgot about the coming later in MY2022 the Wrangler Xtreme Recon, factory equipped with 4.88 and a manual tranny. That 4.88 will be awesome!
I'm running 37's with 4.88 gearing (no FAD, as I'm running the JPP Mopar advanTEK Dana 44 crate axle, equipped with...
Not sure what you mean by ā4.88 is the optional regear from the factory.ā The 4.56 is the only factory gearing on the Wrangler Xtreme model.
Yes, you can buy aftermarket 4.88 gears from JPP Mopar parts, and have them installed by a mechanic in your existing axles, or you can buy the JPP Mopar...
IMHO, this chart is not consistent with the new Jeep Wrangler Xtreme power train configuration.
The Wrangler Xtreme ships factory equipped with the 3.6 V6 + 8 spd tranny, and 315x70R17 tires, which are essentially 35 inch tires.
Note: the Xtreme ships with 4.56 gears, whereas this chart shows...
My totally stock JTRD with its factory stock 33 inch Wildpeak M/Tās and factory stock 373 gearing was getting 18.6 mpg, combined. Weāll see what we get after my build is completed, with 37ās and 488.
I respectfully disagree. Something is wrong with that vehicle, based on the driverās description of what happened. I wouldnāt pawn it off as āno problemo,ā just because some dealers may be less than great.
IMHO, JM2C, and YMMV!
JPP Mopar off road wheels (and Jeep factory Xtreme with 35ās) are standard factory +12, thus they do not stick out and create all sorts of problems with wear, tear, and greatly increased stress loads on entire front end, buying yourself a ton of problems. His Rubicon is equipoed with the new...
BFG manufacturerās tech specs say the minimum wheel width requirement for a 17 inch wheel for their BFG 37x12.50R17 KO2 A/T is 8.5 inches (8.5 - 11 inches, min/max). Did your tire dealer say anything about mounting your tire on a 7.5 inch rim? Most of the big tire shops will adamantly refuse to...
My 2019 Shelby Ford Raptor was equipped with the EcoBoost 6-banger, rated at 525HP and 610 ft-lbs of torque, with its Shelby factory tune. Very fun to drive, but it still sounded pretty lamo, not much better sounding than the stock EcoBoost, and I got maybe 15MPG, on a good day. Certainly...
When youāre this hugely overloaded using a small truck like a JT, Iād hardly think relocating its jack is going to make a hill of beans of difference. IMHO, it sounds like thereās a more fundamental problem at play here, like you may want to consider trading-in your JT on a full size pickup...
