  1. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Hi Minnie2011. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, I’m skeptical of a software fix - in fact, I’m concerned about it. There are thousands of Gladiators out there running the exact same software with no issues, apparently. My concern then comes if this is a means of “turning off the light.” Is...
  2. Survey- For those with misfire issues

I appreciate and respect your optimism, but I've seen others who have gone this route and then are back in the service center 400 miles later.
  3. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Thanks for the update, DTrees! I'm wondering if I'll be in the same boat shortly...
  4. P0300 Misfire Before Gladiator had 400 Miles on it. Back to the dealership for the 3rd time.

I too am skeptical of a software fix. Given some of these cases end up with engines getting worse over time even to the point of failure, I'd assume a manufacturing defect - block machining, maybe? There are also now thousands of JTs on the road nationwide and mine was the first my dealership...
  5. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Since I forgot to add this before: Build Date: TBD - It's in the shop... Mileage @ first occurrence: ~2300 Times Occurred: 2 Codes Thrown: P0300/P0306 Ongoing Issue? Yes Methods Tried to Fix: Plug/Coil Replacement (lasted one week). Was issue resolved? Not yet
  6. Survey- For those with misfire issues

All of the Gladiator models have the same engine, although this is the 3rd version of the Pentastar line. There are posters on this thread with each of the main three models, Sport S, Overland and Rubicon - all the same issue. Others have said that some changes were made due to the engine for...
  7. Survey- For those with misfire issues

Well, add me to the list. Thanks to my dealership, I’ve already contacted FCA and have a case number. Already did the spark plug/coil replacement and now back in the shop faced with “it may be the cam or lifter arm and it’ll take 10 days to get those parts.” Which, thanks to these threads, I...
  8. So many used Gladiators on the market.

I suppose there are a fair number of truck people who just don’t speak “Jeep.” They buy it and determine it’s not a great truck. Then there are the Jeep people who buy one and say it’s not “Jeep” enough. It takes people like me: people who love taking the doors and roof off, but sometimes need...
