I’m interested too. In September (I hope) I’ll be getting my Gator JT with max tow. Then I’ll tow my lifted TJ to Fort Benning to give to my son where he’ll be in training. My gift to him for getting his butter bar.

Keeping an eye on this thread. I’m thinking Gator Green with tan cloth too. I’d like to hear about experiences with the tan cloth too.

Note to self...when traveling the Alcan do not use block ice in your plastic water jugs. I learned that the hard way.

I built the frame and the base. Pretty straight forward welding. Bought the axel, mounts, and leaf springs for $125. They built the axel to the same width as my TJR. The top is a solid sheet of metal that hinges forward with gas assist shocks. 5 foot long welds take awhile to weld and grind.

With three of us in the TJ I had to have a trailer for our trip from Louisiana to Alaska. They were/are expensive to buy so I built this one.

My son will be, God willing, commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army this August. Needless to say, I am incredibly proud of him.

I just called FCA customer service and talked with Audra (spelling) and she indicated that FCA has no control over market adjustments some Jeep dealerships are adding. She said they are “independently owned” and that the MSRP is just a “suggestion.” Interesting! They seem to be pinning it on...

My dealer just told me they can’t order up a Gator until FCA starts offering that color. I was hoping we Gator folks could go ahead and get in line. I guess not. Ugh!
