You are aware that some kits have completely open filters? Out of the 100+ kits we have on the road I've had 3 people request to seal it off. And we are offering for them at no charge if they want it.
We have a piece being made that if you want to seal off the box, you can. A replacement box is $70 though the Quadratech if you ever wanted to go back to stock.
Yes I've built ,owned, driven them all from Terminator 93 Cobra to my 800hp Supra. In fact our parent company builds 1000hp Yenko Corvettes, Camaros, and the new Syclones at Specialty Vehicles in the same facility. https://specialtyvehicleengineering.com/
They didn't like that we turned off "the auto stop start" in the calibration. It is required to be on if sold through a dealership (even though most people don't like it) They also wanted some sensor tests ran at our place for them and sent data since they were shutdown. Scheduling our Ram now...
Actally number can and do lie. You can dyno at 5 different places and get 5 different numbers which is why we do engine hp like the factory does. You have load bearing dynos, Different temperatures can lie, Tire size, 1 ton axles or not, gears, etc. 50lb wheels vs 150lb wheels can all lie...
Yes, under light throttle and no boost conditions, all supercharger kits will drive like they have no supercharger attached as the pressurized air does not enter the combustion chamber. The Magnuson blowers all use vacuum actuated bypass valves, which means that as vacuum goes away, the bypass...
Our kit comes on and accelerates like stock and is linear through the rpm range. With 1-2 lbs of boost coming out into traffic at part throttle without coming on like a light switch. I wouldn't hesitate to let my GF/wife drive with our Hamburger's kit.
You shouldn't have any issues with water crossings at all. Our Jeeps have been out testing for the past 4 years in all environments. For reference XJ's are the most wheeled Jeeps out there with alternators at the bottom of engine.
I do not. We just deal with ECUs when adding our superchargers. It's a possibility it could work especially when it does the relearn. Dealership we dealt with didn't have to replace the phasers but just reset the calibration sensor because it was off. There isn't a one size fits all fix at the...
We just dealt with one that the cam phasers just needed to be reset at the dealership. It was a relearn reset and seems to have worked. Thought I would throw that out there.
There are at least 2 different versions of the Operating System "software". The problem in majority seems to be in the later version of it from what we have seen.
Surging is due to the bypass valve opening and closing. All kits will have this. We have an electronic bypass solution that fixes this that will be included with all Hamburger Supercharger kits shortly.
Most supercharger companies are using HP Tuners. If your computer is unlocked for the Pulsar you will need to have the ecu unlocked again due to the difference between unlocks. HP Doesn't work with Diablo/Superchips or vice versa.
